sometimes i like to imagine that one thing kenjaku took from getou (other than his body) is this inexplainable, unplaceable infatuation with satoru gojo. the idea that getou's own feelings somehow bled out into kenjaku's possession of his body, so engrained in him that kenjaku can't help but be a little obsessed.

it's a cold-hearted and goal-oriented infatuation. entirely one-sided. satoru wants nothing to do with the thing (as gojo considers him) that stole getou's body. he wants nothing to do with the imposter. but kenjaku, for some reason, wants everything to do with him. when gojo is sealed, kenjaku peers at the box, into it's many eyes, as if that would somehow let him see into the prison realm. like he could catch a glimpse of his unwanting captive. he speaks to it in hushed whispers. plans, thoughts, words meant to convince gojo of his cause.

they're always a little sick, always bordering on obsessive. getou's feelings did not transfer in their entirety. no, they transferred in patches. muddled, mixed up swells of emotions that manifested in a cruel form of obsession free from reason.

kenjaku doesn't care what gojo wants or thinks of it. he's simply infatuated. it doesn't need to be returned. only satiated.
