I gave Charlotte a Collingwood premiership teddy bear for Christmas and she liked it when she opened it but when it was time to pack up her presents and go home, she took the teddy from the bag, put it on the couch and said "I don't want this" like rude?????? IT'S GOT A MAGPIE ON IT, CHARLOTTE, YOU HAVE TO LIKE IT

#thank God there's another one coming #will have to do better with the next child #maybe just have a child of my own that's a better idea #corrupt my own child #sigh #Charlotte still had a bit of a cold yesterday and she hated when someone came and wiped her nose/face #Charlotte come on you need your face wiped #Santa brought her a sack of presents and apparently when she got to the end of it she asked 'where's the presents'#my parents got her a kids toolbox and duplo thing which she desperately wanted to open then and there #her uncle got her some books #she's very spoilt #dunno if her maternal grandparents got her anything but also they don't celebrate Christmas it's just another day for them #they prefer chopsticks for their roast dinner #they said (translated by Charlotte's mum) that it was a lovely meal and that they'll invited us around for Chinese New year #it's difficult to talk to them #my Nana tried but like it's all just smiles and nods like are they just being polite or they're just shy or #how much is being understood??? i don't know #i don't even understand how bilingual works
