wenclair might be one of the few ships where the whole "black cat gf x golden retriver gf" trope isn't an exaggerated, fan-made caricature of the characters. like that's just them in canon. that's who they are.
#totally agree that sometimes the fandom 'rounds up' and shoves characters into boxes they don't really fit for the sake of a dynamic#but that's not the case here#they are the embodiment of black cat x golden retriever gfs and i love them for it#wenclair#ofc this is partly due to the campy nature of the addams family to begin with#which makes all the characters caricatures by default
