#sacredsunday yesterday was a beautiful, insightful and encouraging event. Kim @womanunbreakable you did that. Tiya @dixie24 thank you for asking me to be apart. Here are the three takeaways I shared yesterday. 1. It's never too late to pursue something you love today. I began my journey in 2013 by the time I was 49 approaching 50 in 2016 I left my full-time job to pour more into my gift. Small steps matter, make a plan. If you want to need to clear out debt use your job to do that so you can funnel the money from your secured income into dreams. 2. Don't forget the anchor which is God. It is easy to get caught up in the accomplishment and forget who is bringing you the favor you are receiving. God will shake you up as he did me to remind you of what role he has played in that. You can not be an entrepreneur without God. It's IMPOSSIBLE to not have an anchor, the process is too unpredictable without him. 3. Only keep positive people around you. Even if it's that one friend to pray with you and encourage you. You will need that in times of uncertainty. I learned things too, which I will definitely put into practice. #talktuesday With my Birthday being a month away I realize how much has changed in my life this year. There has not been one area that has gone untouched. From business, physical changes to relationship changes. Through all of the change, hurts and disappointments I am at peace. I realize that my job is to stay focused and keep trusting God to direct me regardless of those changes. Friendships dissolve, love will be lost, the business will go thru peaks and valleys but God is constant and that is enough.
