highlights of the BTS #WingsInSydney Concert

im writing all these down at once because holy fuck this concert was like a religious experience also they’re probably not in order of how they happened oh well

this got ridiculously long so they’re all below the cut

the first words out of namjoon’s mouth were “g’day mates” im fuckin crying

“bts can’t speak english” who ???? they sounded fluent as hell jfc and they memorised all the things they had to say in english so damn well

i actually started fucking crying when jimin did his greeting in english bc i am a soft jimin stan™ and also hopeless lmao

yoongi took out his earpiece to hear us all screaming when he did his greeting oh my god i love this man

the solo stages ??? hoLY FUCK my dudes

they were so good

fucking jungkook’s footwork like he could dance like that on my gotdamn grave and id thank him

jimin looked like a prince in his sparkly ass suit for lie fucking hell hes never looked more angelic

jfc okay so australia is home to the fucking most yoongi and hoseok stans you have no idea... they got the loudest cheers and yells and it was amazing

on a related note, everyone started chanting “min yoongi” before first love and it was amazing

first love was so beautiful i cried, my friends cried, the whole audience cried

okay but on a more serious note its actually so fucking beautiful, just listening to yoongi... you can hear how much he’s been through and listening to him in that moment it was just so fucking clear: this is a man who has been broken and for whom music was his only salvation and fucking hell u can hear it in his voice

yoongi teared up at the end of first love

namjoon had such a small but beautiful smile on his face when he heard the audience sing “we love you” after his “i wish i could love myself” in reflection it was so sweet

fucking taehyung has the biggest vocal range ive ever heard jfc

j-hope’s mama was lit as fuck, as is to be completely expected tbh

and jin holy fuck..... im so glad this fandom has stopped sleeping on this man because his voice is mesmerising

also ??? they all looked so fucking beautiful

like im not even close to kidding... pictures and videos don’t do them any justice at all

think of the best photos you’ve ever seen of them, times it by three hundred, and you’ll maybe get 1/3 of how pretty they actually are irl its fucking insane

also their fucking skin looked incredible

it was so beautiful and brown

taehyung was wearing a white headband for some bits and it was incredible

also ?? holy fuck i knew yoongi could rap fast but jesus christ hearing him do it live is something else

does that man even need to breathe i dont think so

jin introduced himself as “mr worldwide handsome” like five times it was amazing

also his heart bracelets were so cute im going to die

jimin is super graceful onstage and he made every single dance look incredibly easy i love him

at one point taehyung was talking to the audience and he had a beanie on but one tuft of hair was sticking straight up out of his fringe and it was the cutest thing but someone (i think it was yoongi?) walked over and flattened it down for him

at the end, jin was doing these huge goodbye waves w his entire arms and jungkook was walking behind him and they bumped into each other and jungkook pulled the funniest face ive ever seen but then they hugged it out

lol the show was meant to end at 9 but they kept performing until 9:27 i love my generous men

aaaand this got super long so im gonna end it here. but for real the concert was amazing, if any of y’all get the chance to attend a bts concert - please do. it is so, so worth it.
