as requested by @softgirl-softworld <3 mwah

in the early stages of growing her buzz cut out, she let max dye cute little designs into her hair (hearts, smiley faces, flowers (maybe even with smiley faces!!!), etc)

will was rly into the art hoe aesthetic in 2018 and it rubbed off on el. she still wears a lot of yellow, high-waisted mom jeans, striped shirts (many given by will) & overalls

her mustard yellow kanken backpack from said art hoe phase is one of her most prized possessions

outside of that her wardrobe is very pastel! she’s either wearing like .. a crop top and a patterned midi skirt or a long, loose-fitting dress with a white shirt underneath. loves a good patterned cardigan too

rly likes studio ghibli films and adventure time. she sleeps with a big totoro plush

will drew a studio ghibli - style portrait of himself, jonathan & el where they’re standing in the rain with totoro & it’s framed in her room

thinks pusheen is the cutest thing ever

willingly wears crocs

has a very large hair accessory collection, consisting of everything from scrunchies to ribbons to bandanas

loves doing her hair when its long. she’s heart eyes for any variation of bubble braids

she really likes flavored chapstick especially if it comes in a fun lil package

falls asleep on facetime with max all the time. the only semblance of an argument they’ve had was over whose shitty wifi was to blame for one of the two cutting out

real big lorde fan!! she’s always on the top three of el’s spotify wrapped. she rly likes indie artists in general like sales, big thief, faye webster, clairo, the list goes on

also likes most 2000s top hits. would give her left arm to listen to i really like you by carly rae jepsen and fireflies by owl city for the first time again

texts like a middle aged mom

rly likes using emoticons, her fav is :o)

misuses acronyms like it’s her job. the type of person to say somethin like “sorry your grandma died. LOL” bc she thought it stood for Lots of Love

doesn’t rly have a social media presence outside of big life milestones (graduation, prom, etc)

very sentimental!! keeps all her concert ticket stubs/movie tickets/photobooth strips/polaroids pinned on a corkboard in her room

absolutely CRUSHED at cut the rope and temple run when she was younger. still has a concerning amount of games on her phone

plays a lot of animal crossing!! loves showing the party her island and would always try to get them into it

hates reading but rly likes audiobooks. loves listening to fantasy novels in particular (harry potter, percy jackson, the raven cycle)

for joyce’s bday one year, el, jonathan & will took awkward family portraits at jcpenny in very tacky 80s getup, complete with many awkward poses (jonathan & will holding el up as she lays there horizontally and poses dramatically, all three of them on the ground side-by-side with their chins in the palm of their hands, etc)

Resplendent Robin ?

Aye, that's a fun pick!

Resplendent M!Robin is drawn by Komiya Kunihara:

The incorporation is just *mwah!* perfect! Lovely choice of color accents with the purple coloring blended with the monochromatic palette, the bony finger clasps on the shoulders, the tatters, the additional head-piece added. Beautifully designed outfit, though I wish that these Hel Resplendents wouldn't chicken out from adding the skeletons underneath. Still an amazing outfit though, perfect corporation.

The art itself is... hit or miss. The color work is awesome and the expressions are good and the anatomy is accurate, but... the posework is very weak. I've mentioned it before but mages NEED to have a good pose to add dynamic flow and Robin unfortunately doesn't have that. Even his regular outfit is more dynamic. Also, the shading on his lip looks weird and so does the shading under his eyes. I'm not saying the shading under his eyes is a bad choice, but it doesn't look well drawn.

But still, the choice for Hel is great. Hel is reminiscent of Plegia and the Grimleal, and it fits Robin perfectly. No other kingdom would fit better than Hel's. Well, mayyyybe Dokkalfheimr? But still wouldn't fit as well as Hel.

Overall, Resplendent Robin sits at an 8/10. I feel like there's some minor aspects that could be improved upon, but everything rounded up is great.

5. Anything you haven’t drawn yet but want to?

Yes, 100%. My to-do list (specifically for CoD) is currently 22 art and 4 fic prompts. 9 art ideas I've come up with myself, 3 of which are mini-comics. One of which is an Animatic if I can figure out how tf to make it.

My regular to-do list is usually fairly short, I don't tend to dwell on ideas if I have the time and drive to do them. Mostly rn it contains fleshing out some tattoo designs I want IRL.

13. Show your favourite drawing from last year

Legit before CoD, I hadn't drawn since 2021. I've been in a major art block for nearly 2 years now.

So basically you're asking me what is my fav CoD drawing, because I've drawn non-CoD related things once, and although I love my OC, he's def not the fav thing I've drawn.

Weezing Gaz (obv) has a good place in my heart:

I'm gonna go obscure for the real answer; Laswell and Alex's horses from my Cowboy AU, specifically this right here.

Everything on this sheet was rushed to get the designs out of my Google Doc and onto something I could visualize. But for some reason Dakota and Trigger were like, We'll be pretty for ya <3 It's not perfect (Dakota's eye closest to Trigger is kinda bugging out, and Trigger's chin is a bit too big) but like?? For a quick Sketchy lineart, good shit.

I don't know, I never fully like a piece? I always nitpick what things I like and don't like. For example:

I love the pose I did for Roach on the design page where he's leaning forwards with his arms crossed. I don't like the outcome of his face.

I love Soap in the picture of them "butt fucking" his waist is legit the sluttiest I've ever drawn, but There's something about Ghost's pose that I don't like.

The wedding picture is obviously the most technically worked on, but I feel like I should have been more creative with the poses.

The concept and Sketch of the sleeping during exfil one, though I dislike the outcome overall. Probably because I overworked it.

The one in my Cowboy AU where Gaz and Soap are on their horses just chatting?? LOVE the horses in that one, Gaz turned out okay, Soap is a little stiff. If I didn't limit myself with a small canvas size and quick backgrounds, I feel like I could have attempted something semi-decent with it...

21. Weirdest thing you’ve ever drawn?

Hands down its something I drew in high school. I don't have physical proof of it, since my biology teacher was in tears and I decided to let her have it since she loved it so much.

It was a buff pterodactyl screeching with a steroid needle in his eye.
