When Raz uses Claivoyance on Maligustus, what does he see?
Good question, anon! It actually depends on where he does it.
[Image ID: Two sketches of Raz in different outfit. On the left is Raz dressed in a striped turtleneck, jacket, and no hat. His goggles are on, and he has a hand out to say "stop." It's labeled as "outer world" and "psychonaut." On the right is Raz in his dad's usual clothes and his hat and goggles on his head (not over his eyes.) He looks a bit anxious. He's labeled as "in drowned circus" and "acrobat." End ID]
If he does it to Augustus after he's in his panicked state, he just sees Raz as a Psychonaut-- sort of like how "Not!Raz" looks in Drowned Circus. He's the counterpart to Meat Circus Augustus in that he's not really the right view.
If he does it to Augustus in his mind, though, he can see what Augustus really sees of him-- Augustus sees him as a younger version of himself. He's in need of protection, he's a child still, and he's going to be hurt but he is going to be strong. He sees Raz like Sasha sees Raz-- He sees himself in this kid and he knows that he trusts his boy.
After it's all said and done, I think that Augustus would still have the latter as his view of Raz overall. He's not the leader of the circus, he's... Just Raz. And that's okay.
