One day, a wooden doll was left in a mushroom forest. The next day, Pinocchio sprouted to life!
Though his origin of how he could have ever ended up in that mushroom-infested biome as a lifeless and seemingly simple dolly remains a mystery, make no mistake that nowadays, the wooden boy is bustling with life— oops! That’s not really supposed to be shared willy-nilly just like that! See, Pinocchio’s persona seems to take some inspiration from avian-like. Or more specifically, swans, for their elegance and beauty! But elegance and beauty are… well, far from what Pinocchio’s little getup may radiate at first glance. But hey, when you have no fingers, you gotta make do. It’s impressive he’s got that little outfit in one piece at all! But why hide? Is he self conscious of his own appearance? Perhaps he just likes swans more? Answers may be up in the air. Pinocchio can’t really come up with a clear and cut answer himself… or at least, that’s what he’d say if his nose wasn’t going to elongate from his own attempt at fibbing.
But what about all those fungus-y formations underneath that artificial pelt? Well, that mushroom forest seems to have some… peculiar occurrences. Those who stay long enough don’t usually leave, at least, not without some permanent damage. But lifeless little Pinocchio didn’t have a soul to work with, so the mushrooms seemed to… make do with what they inhabited. Though zombie-like at first, the specimen in the process of becoming corporeal made observations of children playing in the closest town. And if he is small like the children, then he must be a child, too! His personality was very much adopted based on what he saw around him, giving him his speech and eccentric mannerisms— and let’s not forget naive curiosity! But sometimes that can lead to… less than fortunate encounters. One in particular that hindered his ability to trust further than it already had been shattered when the once bustling civilization he liked to call home suddenly became a ghost town. And much like this town, he felt his identity falter, hoping to one day draw people back in with his “swan-like grace”… well, you have to give him credit for trying.
But out of nowhere, it looks like a guest has been dropped off at his empty streets…! He hasn’t had visitors in a while, and she seems decent! He’ll keep the mask up for now, not truly certain she won’t “trick” him like the rest, but he hopes that in terms of getting to know her, she’ll eventually see that within that ugly duckling— oops, swan dress up, he’s just a fun guy!

Oh FINALLY there’s Pinocchio’s bio :) He’s a little strange but he’s got the spirit!
I hope y’all like that one Pokémon Parasect cause he’s. Actually kinda like that guy. Oops!
