I arrived just as the sun was setting so I captured the last glimpse of this building in daylight. I love buildings like this that combine color, material and have interesting shapes. The long tentacles of the Japanese sea nettle are a perfect tool for plucking plankton from the water. They are covered in stinging cells that paralyse & capture prey. Today the crew and I went to @thedeephull which is a home to approximately 5,000 animals - there are almost 3,500 fish at The Deep including Green sawfish, spectacular sharks, rays, turtles and a colony of Gentoo penguins,

Black pacu (which is an enormous vegetarian relative of the piranha) and three different types of catfish; the Red-tail catfish, Ripsaw catfish and Tiger shovel-nose catfish and more!!!

I was so happy to be gifted tickets access to their aquarium! Extremely grateful. It's been such a fantastic day! (Minus when Oscar got hangry but there's a restaurant there so he got some grub which we paid for and cost standard prices and he wolfed down nuggets, chips and beans🙄😂)

There's accessibility for all visitors and are always updating and adding to their wide range of information to ensure an accessible family day out - I had my pram with me so issues getting about.

The Deep is in Hull, UK.

Also noticed the messages they had around about reducing plastic and preserving sea life. but there's just so much to see and learn.

The kids got little goodie bags too an activity book and mini penguin and Winnie got a cute plush fish! My nephew and mum joined in on the fun so definitely a nice trip out annndd all of course adding to the vlog and blog! If anyone wants to know what it's like 😊

When I asked the kids what their favourite part of the day was my son said seeing the sharks and my nephew and daughter said everything! The mini one loved the interactive floor.

Day 67 of 2020 - Our day at @thedeephull this time we took Grandma A with us for her birthday treat. It wasn't as busy as before so we got to have a full look around.
