every time i hop back into fallout 3 i am bewildered and astonished at how Charon became the most popular character from that game

i wanna buy into the Charon hype... i do... i don't have anything wrong with his fanon interpretation and i love ghouls... but in-game Charon is so heartbreakingly boring and annoying. i wouldn't mind his constant idle dialogue if i could actually hold a conversation with him but as it is I'm just so irritated by his constant grouching. i usually hold off the main plot in bethesda games because i get so distracted by side quests but I'm rushing through it just so i can unlock a different character to keep around ahsjsks
