Boyfriend material

YN loves spending time with Chan. He makes her feel happy, warm, protected. He is like a ray of sunshine that knows how to sing and bench press her body weight with ease. Chan loves spending time with YN. Her thirst for knowledge allows him to learn new things every day, and her sassy remarks to his anecdotes make him laugh. YN and Chan spend as much time together as possible – as friends.

That’s how it has always been. But lately, something else has been growing between them, something that is decidedly … more sensual. They have always been easily physical with each other, hugging tightly, cuddling on the couch. However these days, when a cuddle is in progress, YN wishes she could add a nibble to Chan’s collarbone or a lingering kiss to his pouty lips. She has the impression that Chan feels the same – but what if she is wrong? After much discussion with her besty, she decides that today is the day. She will make A Move.

They are watching a film and YN is in Chan's arms, as usual. She starts stroking her hand along his hoodie-clad arm, then abruptly sits up, one hand on his shoulder.

"What material is this?", she asks. "Don't tell me...it's boyfriend material?"

Chan blinks in confusion, then stares as at her as understanding dawns on him.

"Are you...asking me to be your boyfriend?"

"Only if the answer is ye–“

“YES. Yes of course! I have been trying to figure out how to tell you for ages!”

“Oh! Well then…kiss me, you big dummy!”
