sheet music is so special to me. someone hundreds of years ago made something beautiful and said i can't play this for you but i can tell you how. you can recreate my work and hear my art through your own. agh

#like do you ever think about that.... old music didn't stick around like paintings and #words do but centuries later we still know what they sounded like coz they #left behind instructions anyone can follow and hear them.... sounds surviving across all this time...waaa #in other words i finally learned gnossienne no. 1 after putting it off for like literal years #it took like. 5 tries tops to get all the notes idk why i delayed it for so long it's #one of my favourite pieces #the rhythm is the tricky part you rly have to nail the everything for it to sound as intended #i think i got it but i can't tell #it looks so simple and it is on paper but the actual movements are so precise #barking #classical music
