chemistry knowledge just slides off my brain like water off a duck like this is basically the third time im taking chem 1 cuz i had ap chem in hs and then took it my freshman year college and each time i got like a C and the best i can hope for now is another C but whats really fucked is you know what comes next if i do get thru this class? CHEM 2. and after that? a year of organic chem. and possibly even biochem after that. fucked up and terrible im switching majors from bio to russian literature

#the reason im taking it again now is i got a D in chem2 so i need to prepare to be able to pass that one this time #to be fair i dont really study but i should have just absorbed enough by now i think. also i dont know how to study because chemistry just #doesnt make sense to me so i have to memorize everything because i dont understand it and i hate rote memorization and am bad at it for #stuff i dont care about #im sure chemistry is really beautiful and epic and interesting i just dont ''get it'' and i probably could if i put in an effort but like #so yes this is all my fault but i will complain about it #i dont know shit about russian lit i was just trying to come up with something that like... would be hard for me because i dont know it but #would be easier in some ways that learning chemistry bc literature andn history and general ''humanities'' type topics tend to be more #intuitive for me to learn for whatever reason than math type stuff #im trying to believe that like. my abiltiies are not fixed and i can get better at stuff i just have to try but its hard
