for a little while i've been coming up with an au where dovewing meets hollyleaf in the tunnels because she can hear her down there and they sort of become friends with hollyleaf becoming a shoulder she can lean on because she sees herself in dovewing, so loyal to the code and wanting to make change but crushed by the ambitions of a higher power. and then there's dove and ivy been mentored by two cats who disagree with starclan and have been betrayed by them in similar ways but with radically different ideas of how to go about it. i think it'd be fun to explore hehe

YES !!! YES YES !!!! i’m actually interested cuz i haven’t read omen of the stars since it came out when i was like 9 so i remember so little of dove wings personality and what she was like in that series but i’ve always said there should’ve been more of a connection between holly and dove ivy… i think the ivy/holly parallel is a lot easier to draw cuz like.. ough they’re “edgy” but the dove holly parallel is MORE INTERESTING!! cuz holly wasn’t like ivypaw she wasn’t some scorned bitter apprentice she loved the code and the clan which aligns much better with dovey…. i also think hollys sacrifice would’ve been more meaningful if she had any real connection to ivypool. anyway good au… i’m obssessed

as someone with completely normal feeling about things (lie) rewatching succession for the finale has made me think many many thoughts about the mikaelsons.
