i don't think we give voyager enough credit for being one of the only pieces of media where the women are written to be much more interesting than the men
#like yeah yeah i love uhura i love dr crusher i love troi#but none of them are the most interesting characters on their shows#and theyre not that three dimensional#but janeway b'elanna and seven are just so genuinely fascinating like their characterizations are so unique and interesting#whereas the men on voyager pretty much fall flat. like yeah tom and harry are pretty funny but they don't have much else going for them.#and chakotay and neelix? the most boring characters on tv.#the only exceptions are tuvok (my beloved) and the emh but they're still not as interesting as the women#voy#voyager#mine
