At The Tropical Hideaway at Disneyland, you can find what happened to Rosita! Near her perch, you'll find a little hat and a cane. These items are references to Juan the Barker Bird, who used to invite people to come see The Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland!

For some of the best pictures in the park- Ride 👏🏻 the 👏🏻 riverboat 👏🏻. You get spectacular views and fun narration, it’s a attraction and has lore within itself. Underrated

Wonderful Things That May or May Not Wonderful!!! One day, one Walter Elias Disney saw a mechanical bird toy while visiting New Orleans. This chance encounter led to creation of automated robot puppets called Audio-Animatronics and the ground zero for this revolutionary new technology would be...a Chinese restaurant! But that was deemed superfluous so The Enchanted Tiki Room was created instead with mechanical singing parrots as the main course instead of dim sum.  TETR is a classic attraction in every sense of the word. A show where a bunch of singing birds, flowers, and tiki statues give audiences quite the tropical serenade. It's not the most thrilling, it's not the most advanced but it does have catchy music, air conditioning, and charm for days. Plus, it's  island themed and everything island themed is awesome. If you're looking for a  #wonderful piece of theme park history to chill out in, you can't do much better than the tiki tiki tiki tiki room. P.S. I now know what my next WDW themed Top 7 list is going to be. (Nah, never mind) P.P.S. Here's a recipe for the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Rum below, a good source of liver poison. P.P.P.S. Rolly Crump, Disney animator and designer for several Disney Park rides including The Haunted Mansion, Enchanted Tiki Room, the it's a small world clock (based on Mary Blair's art) and the lost attraction The Museum Of Weird, has passed away at the age of 93 today.

So I made an appropriete tribute art to the man the way that many Imagineers, especially those that worked on HM, have been represented in the parks
