I am freshly showered, with a cat in my lap and a pot of tea. I live alone, so I don’t bother anyone and no one bothers me. I’m looking forward to d&d tomorrow, and monday I start my second week of a PhD that will be a steady source of income for the next 4 years, in an office full of interesting, friendly, and passionate people. There are stresses and worries, but it’s nothing I can’t handle; it’s tedious and a little frustrating, but that’s all it is.

And all I can think is i have arrived
