i feel like i get like. 2011 supernatural fandom crazy about the magicians but the thing is. the difference is. the difference is, see, that the magicians is good
#or#and i can say this confidently bc i've been watching supernatural again Just To See and it's so much like#more shallow than i remember it being#you know when i was in jr high#and everyone i knew was talking about it and theorizing about it and headcanoning about it etc#making it seem deeper than it was#literally i forgot that half the time dean opens his mouth its complete nonsense spoonerisms that don't hold any weight#we passed the scene during the like. episode where he becomes old#where he's trying to tell bobby that he's still a valuable member of the team and the family despite his disability (which is gone like#4 episodes later btw) and he says like#'you're not useless' which is good and nice#and then he starts talking about ??? wounded soldiers at war???? and then veers back in2 family#and like babe that doesn't make sense#like you can see the Bones of what the writers wanted the scene to convey#but they're so unwilling to negotiate actual human emotino#emotion even#that it just turns into word soup.like it's slipping through my fingers like so much spaghetti#it is simply not well written#so anyway i feel confident that my magicians crazy is justified
