Magic of Love

AePete AU ~ Magic of Love

Do you believe in magic? Do you believe in love? What is more powerful? What is desire? What is passion? What is protection? What is a spell? What can be more powerful than love?

Pete and Tin are very close cousins. They have a very close relationship that made others jealous. Though Pete thinks Tin is an asshat while Tin thinks Pete is a dumbass – both have a strong bond with each other.

Tin knew of Pete’s secret. The family or more like the generation old secret of the family. Pete is a witch or rather a wizard. He has well, powers, not like Harry Potter needing a magic wand or anime dragon ball kamehame wave power - more like a powerful, refined magic. Pete can use just his mind and his hand to do it, cast spells or jinxes. There’s no wand or anything, spells and all curses can be taught. Well Pete was taught by his aunts. Pete is more like Sabrina the Teenage Witch - Netflix version… the darker version.

Pete’s mother was a very powerful yet humble and sweet and caring Queen Witch (meaning she’s that powerful). She married a douchebag. Pete’s mother went away because of the betrayal and died of a broken heart.

Pete told Tin, ‘I will never fall in love.’

Pete grew up as shy, sweet yet can jinx your ass boy when irked.

Pete was eleven years old when someone throw stones at him and called him sissy and his mother a witch, the boy who teased him even punch him and slap his face, Pete was so angry and cast a spell that he wasn’t aware would cause a different outcome.

Pete’s fury is not something any one should take light off – even his aunts are afraid of that sleeping power.

The boy was sent to the hospital that night when he keeps on vomiting worms, and other insects. The boy was admitted to the hospital for 3 weeks and when the doctor cannot find any cure, the parents went to a shaman or phram.

The phram told the parents that their child was cursed with a very powerful dark anger, the boy will stop vomiting on the next moon rising, but his bad luck in all will remain – so powerful that the boy’s future children will inherit it.

Pete was able to find out about the boy’s predicament and he was so ashamed of what he have done.

His aunts told him, its not his fault, but all the same he felt guilty. His aunts just loves him. The aunts told him, that they will reversed the curse. (they actually reverse only a little – they wanted to cruse the boy so much for hurting their sweet loving Pete)

Pete doesn’t use his powers anymore. He was afraid of what he can do.

Their Aunts: Aunt Malai and Aunt Lawan are two gorgeous to be called Aunt. They taught Pete everything, but never sad nor disappointed when Pete don’t use his magic. The magic is there – its inside the soul.

In the modern world, where magic and spells are but of myth and tv shows, they have more peace and nobody pays attention to them. Heck, David Blaine can take away their money and their fine with it. They don’t announce to the world they are witches and wizards or knows magic.

Magic is not to be show off. It is a special gift. It should be respected and not ridicule in any form or any shape.

Pete doesn’t need popularity nor money for he is filthy rich. Rich like - Forbes rich. He doesn’t even need to work to live, but he is simple humble boy.

Tin on the other hand is in the magazine for the richest kid, cause of his father. Tin may be his cousins but Tin doesnt have the power or spell. He is not a direct descendant nor his bloodline have any magic.

There are rules and many complicated things about their bloodline and who pass the magic.

But they are close and whoever messes with the other will feel the burnt of the other.

The aunts told Pete to enroll to a university so that he can have a normal life. A life where he can have friends and smile and laugh. He doesn’t need the guilt of the past to drown him.

Pete enrolled and was enjoying his college life when Pete was assaulted by Trump (the boy he save and trusted as a close friend) and when Pete was about to be harassed, he was about to use his magic when Ae came and beat the hell out of Tramp.

Pete was surprise that someone helps him, most of the time, people will pass him by, especially as he doesn’t announce his surname. They just know his rich and the grandson of a rich hotel owner.

Pete likes Ae instantly. For most, Pete cannot read Ae’s mind.

Ae is like a breathe of fresh air to him.

Ae is smaller than him, but those sturdy, well toned muscled is to die for. He cant help but drool when Ae takes off his shirt and flash those well defined body to him.

He doesn’t know if Ae bewitched him or not.

Pete and Ae grew close. Super close.

Ae will pick him up so they can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Ae is always there and making him brave.

Ae also introduced him to new friends, friends who accepts him. Pond, Ping, Bow, Chaaim, Type, Techno, Can, Champ – everyone was special to him for he accepts him.

Tin told Pete to be careful.

Ae is known to hate anything that’s related to magic or freak coincidence.

Ae’s younger brother died because of a curse. And Ae hates anything that is said to be related to magic or any coincidence.

Pete grew scared that Ae will find his real nature so he kept that a secret even though Tin keep on telling him to move away from Ae.

Ae is totally a bad news.

But stubborn heart isn’t easily persuaded, and Pete and Ae grew close…

So close that Pond, Ping and Bow kept rolling their eyes when Ae keep on telling them that Pete is just a friend.

Ae hates Tin. Ae doesn’t actually knew that Pete and Tin are related. There’s so much complication to their family tree.

Ae have no idea and he is very jealous of how close Pete and Tin are. He hates the bastard Tin who looks at him with disdain and arrogance.

Tin thinks that Ae doesn’t deserve his cousin Pete.

Tin looks at Pete and caress his cheeks, ‘Pete. I don’t want you to get hurt. Inside of you is not just a powerful magic, but a vulnerable heart. You are strong yet fragile… inside of you is like an ocean. Still yet in constant motion… Quiet but never afraid… Silent but always awake…’

‘Tin.’

‘Pete. I love you. You’re the only cousin I ever love like a younger brother. And no matter what - I will support you, and if anyone hurt you - I will be there to wipe your tears and kill the bastard who made you shed tears.’

‘Tin~~~’

‘What? You’re a dumbass so you need me to protect you even if you’re a witch.’

‘Wizard.’

‘Witch. You’re more of a witch than a wizard.’

‘I hate you asshat.’

‘I hate you dumbass.’

That’s who Tin and Pete are. Tin went away for a couple of weeks to take care of something.

Ae told Pete to come with him on Yim’s birthday

It was a happy occasion but then N’Yim suddenly convulse and her fever was sky high and it was reported by the doctors that they don’t know what’s happening. Ae was frantic and told Pete to go home but Pete argued and he stayed. Ae appreciates that Pete stays with him. He felt so weak, N’Yim is his precious niece and if anything happen to his sweet niece he will be devastated. Not another baby lost.

Pete stayed because he was worried when he smell a foul air on N’Yim person.

He secretly check N’Yim person and yes, there’s a dark aura surrounding her and its dark magic – an evil magic.

Pete grew angry. Nobody messes with his precious people. Pete without them knowing that night (Ae is with Yim at the hospital) went out and follow the trace of the magic. It is easy to trace for it lingers in the air, the hatred, the anger, the malicious intent.

He was led to a dark house and discover the woman who was in love with Ae’s brother and Pete with just a flick of his hand destroys the woman’s measly power and told her: ‘If you ever touch Intouch family again, I will make sure that you will live forever with horrors of hell.’

Pete then announced in an icy voice, ‘Pete Pitchaya of the Seventh Sons of the Seventh Daughters declare you a none witch and will not enter any realms and doors of kins breathe. You are forever strip of your powers and no amount of magic and spells will return it.’

The witch beg for mercy but Pete said, ‘You touch something so precious to me. A child. A sweet innocent child. You will pay for your crimes.’

Pete then erases any traces of him from the witch’s mind and went to the hospital only to hear Ae, ‘You’re saying its a witch?! Again! Those blasted beast should never live! They are a menace! I wish all of them die!’

Pete’s heart was pierce with hurt.

Yim recovered and told them that she saw a beautiful angel who cradles her and that told her everything will be alright. Yim told them the angel looks like Ae Pete.

Pete smiles. He caresses Yim’s cheek and told her, ‘Everything will be fine. Your Ae Ae is your guardian knight. He will protect you.’

Ae smiles at Pete.

One night Pete asked Ae, ‘Why do you hate witches? I mean – I know they are just myths and legends but – do you hate magic?’

Ae looks at Pete and told him in a serious voice, ‘Witches are real Pete. I know you may find me silly and a loony, but its real. I saw one.’

And Ae told him the story of him and his lost little brother who died because of a witch, ‘That’s why I hate them. I hate them all and wish to hell they burn alive!’

‘But Ae… not all witches are bad. I mean, people are people, but some are good and some are bad.’

Ae grins and caresses Pete’s cheek, ‘You are the only innocent angel who will think of so many good things. No Pete. Witches – all of them are bad. Hell, if there’s a job as a witch hunter I’ll probably apply for it and kill as many as them.’

Ae grew confused on why Pete keeps on avoiding him.

Pete avoids Ae and told Tin, ‘You are right you know. They still hate us. No matter if we do good or bad - the hatred to our kind is the same.’

Tin, ‘You’re an idiot. But you save the child’s life. You are too powerful yet you don’t use your powers.’

‘Tin… I’m scared. Ae hates our kind.’

‘They why don’t you bewitch the short idiot?’

‘Then that’s not love.’

‘What the – you’re in love with that short stuff?!’

‘Tin~~~’

‘He is short.’

‘You’re just tall asshat.’

‘What will you do?’

‘I don’t know… avoid him is the only thing I can think of.’

Pete avoids Ae one day after another.

Ae was angry and upset as he doesn’t know why Pete keeps on avoiding him, and it infuriates the shit out of him is that when he sees Pete calls him and runs over to the tall guy, one corner – boom – vanish! As if Pete vanish into thin air.

That’s been going about for so many weeks.

Pete then sent a message to Ae, ‘Ae. Sorry for avoiding you. I think its best if we separate. Thank you for the wonderful months. You made me brave and strong and smile. Thank you again Ae for saving me. For believing that there’s so many good things in life.’

Ae has no way to see Pete and the only way he knew is to stay at Pete’s door apartment.

Pete was surprised to see Ae there. He doesn’t know how Ae get passed security but he cant vanish into thin air in front of Ae.

Ae grabs Pete’s arms and shakes him. ‘What the fuck is wrong with you? What the hell is with that message?!’

‘Ae… I told you-‘

‘Did I ever hurt you? Did I ever give you a reason to hate me?!’

‘Ae… no-‘

‘Then what?! Tell me! Fucking tell me cause I don’t understand why I’m feeling angry and upset with you avoiding me! I hate not seeing you! I hate not being with you! I most certainly hate that I cannot even touch you!’

‘Ae… are you?’

‘Yes! I love you! I love you more than a friend. I love you more than anything in this fucking world! I want you to be mine! So please Pete! Don’t avoid me.’

‘But Ae… I’m a man - a guy…’

‘So what? You told me you like men. That you’re okay. I accepted that. So is it wrong that I feel something for you? Are those feelings exclusive for gays only?’

‘You’re just confused with our closeness-‘

‘Don’t fucking belittle my feelings Pete. I know what I’m feeling. And you think I’m confused? There’s a cute 15 years old girl out there practically throwing herself at me, heck, if I told her to strip she’ll strip and give herself to me – but I don’t like her! I cant even stomach touching her – its you that I want! Its you I want to strip, its you I want to see naked, its your lips I want to kiss, its your body I want to lick. Now tell me – is that a confused boy?’

Pete looks at Ae and started crying.

He wanted to say and shout and be happy… but

‘Pete please don’t cry.’

‘Witch.’

‘What?’

‘Ae… I’m a witch…’

‘Fuck you Pete. If this is your way of rejecting me then that’s low.’

‘Ae… listen to me… I am a witch.’

‘PETE!

Pete raised his hand and all everything inside the apartment lights up, the music started playing, the TV started itself, the curtains opens, the candles all burning.

‘Pete?’

‘Ae… I’m sorry… I didn’t tell you.’

Ae clenches his fist and looks down.

Pete approached him and was about to touch Ae when, ‘Don’t touch me.’

Pete gasped with the intensity of feelings in Ae’s eyes.

‘Ae-‘

‘You lied to me.’

Pete looks at Ae and raise his hand, this time, stopping time – but Ae can still hear and feel – his eyes moves, ‘Ae… I love you. You are the best man for me. You are everything I ever dream. I love you. But I know you’re love is now turning into hate. You accept me being gay – but cannot accept me for being a witch. I love you. And I will always love you.’

Pete put his two hands on Ae’s cheek and put his lips on Ae’s.

Pete kisses Ae so softly… so gently… like a feather…

‘I love you. Bye bye.’

Pete then erases Ae’s memory with a spell and removes any traces of him into Ae’s mind.

Pete carefully turn his hand and they were now inside Ae’s dorm. Yes – time is still stop.

Pete carefully laid Ae into the bed.

Pete then went outside and in the football field, recite a spell, ‘Now… Pete Pitchaya is no more on everyone’s mind.’

Tin felt the surge of power and felt his heart cry, ‘Pete… you dummy.’

‘Bye bye Ae.’
