I love that last comment from eggman since he's the one who started the whole twitter takeover under Aaron Webber's activities as sonic social media manager in 2015.
It was a nostalgic trip imo.
Glad someone compiled the first takeover(my favorite is when the question about the Aaron's situation during Eggman taking sonic twitter account. that teeny tiny Aaron's cry lmao)

I suppose Robert's last redemption was mostly about Aaron and him changing so that he could be there to support Aaron, so when he lost Aaron he reverted to how he used to be. Perhaps this time the show wants it to be more about Robert's issues and how he can't keep living like this as it causes so much pain and misery. I think this could be really good for Robert as a character, I just wish it hadn't involved having a baby with Rebecca.
I think this story will be really important in the long run for Robert and Robron when it’s all said and done. KO never wanted to address the mess she made with Robert and his character in 2015. Mostly she wanted to shoot him and call it a day and then redeem him in some ways through Aaron. Personally, I just don’t think she really ever cared about his character that much.
IM seems to want to break Robert down to the basics. To finally address all the stuff the show has been sweeping under the rug and make Robert a proper character again. I think they want to make him the new Cain in many ways. The bad boy but we understand him. I hope when the Whites leave we will see less of panto villain!Rob which based on IM’s comments sounds likely. Literally, the worst version of Robert since 2016 has come from the Whites. His actions in relation to them have rarely made sense and also just were so OTT to further the Whites is many ways.
I get the general idea behind what they are trying to do with Rebecca and the baby. They needed something big and unmovable but also an end date that could easily be removed to separate Robron. They wanted Robert off the rails and they wanted that in relation to the Whites because they also needed the Whites to leave. So here we are with Rebecca and the baby, but they aren’t really important in any of this. They are mostly objects in a game, which tbf is super gross but I get it. There was something back in July that Aaron said about knowing an end date for the baby and I thought it was an odd line, but now it all feels very purposeful. It’s there for now but there was always an end date. I don’t think there was ever really a plan for a baby to be the endgame. It doesn’t fit the narrative needs of the future, but it fits the needs of the story now.
The story is about Robert and Aaron, but they’ve done what they needed to be done with Aaron since the breakup. It’s clear that Robert’s final developments will be next. Clo had a good point because this is very much a Robert story the baby almost has to be gone by Christmas, cause if it wasn’t it would become about Aaron making a big sacrifice in accepting the baby when it’s clearly about Robert hitting rock bottom and Aaron helping him. The roles have reversed.
