In my Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign, Mr. Primewater is holding one of his famous galas definitely not to distract from the smuggling allegations he's facing; why would he do such a thing, and everyone is dressing up to attend! ...er, except our beloved Kobold rogue, who didn't get an invite, but will be providing some support to the party from the outside as they attempt to expose the nefarious schemes happening under the noses of the guests. I can't wait to see how everything turns out.
Naturally, the other town council members have been invited, so besides drawing the party, I had to include a few of them and their plus-ones: Anders and his trusty escort (who isn't actually at the party because he's "just a servant," but trust me, he is watching), Mrs. Oweland and her adorable husband, Captain Fireborn and his beloved daughter, and, of course.................... the Primewaters.
Plus, a bonus for the Ghosts of Saltmarsh pals come closer. please. interact with Anders. it's fine. that butler is just a kindly old man. you are not in any danger.

I finally filled out this chart of the current party in my Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign. It’s so much fun to take their incredible interactions and put them “on paper” like this- I really love my players and the dynamics they’ve created.
Truly, a family can be four disaster men and their adopted kobold child.

A couple months ago, my Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign had a “beach episode” session, and I never drew fanart for it. Then Barbie came out, this image hit meme status, and I had to correct that.
The rogue is down bad for the bard- but what else is new?

From May-
Cinaed and Sylras, beloved party members from our Curse of Strahd campaign, made a surprise appearance as NPCs in my Ghosts of Saltmarsh! A pair of siblings traveling the world on an educational tour, their grandmother suggested that they pay a visit to their father’s cousin who runs a mining operation down in Saltmarsh- and Manistrad Copperlocks was not happy to be stuck with a pair of troublemaking “kids” to deal with on top of the council drama surrounding Gellan Primewater. So, of course, the party was called in to escort them around town and keep them out of trouble. The former? Easy. The latter? Well…
This was an image I made for Saltmarsh, since it takes place 5 years after our CoS campaign. They’re so grown-up, and yet still so very them.

The bard/rogue dynamic in my Saltmarsh campaign is SO GOOD, I couldn’t rest until this scene from a couple of sessions ago was properly illustrated. This absolutely killed me. My players are the best.

I’m DMing a Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign, and I’m absolutely IN LOVE with our party. This is a group of absolute disaster men (Not You, Echo, You’re An Angel And We’re Thrilled You’re Here), and I can’t wait to see what further antics they get up to in this place. So far, Dax has vaporized a vampire(?) with radiant damage and made Anders Solmor swoon, Echo has become besties with a town guard who has ALL the gossip, Joshua has received a ““gift”“ from some “”fans”” in the Scarlet Brotherhood, and Liam has... drunk a lot of alcohol.
And they haven’t even made it to the Haunted House yet.
