After finally having a more peaceful life he's been trying lots of things, he tried to play music, making flower crowns, taking care of plants, and even he asked Halsin to teach him how to whittle with varying degrees of success
The only thing that he kinda has going on with him is collecting rocks

ooh I like this. you mentioned it in the Darcy thread on the Rugan Fuc… I mean the Zhent Keep server so I’ll chat about her for a bit. sorry that I took so long to ponder on this!
✨Before the Nautiloud…✨
Icymi, Darcy was living in the streets of Baldur’s Gate for about 15 years. To have a warm bed at night, she’d have to find a patron and put out so she could sleep with them and hopefully get paid by them. An exhausting cycle, but it’s what she had to do.
After she had her first few clients, she realized they would have a lot of trust in her. At minimum, enough trust to leave them alone in their bedroom.
One morning, while her client was washing up or doing chores, Darcy just… stuck her nose in their closet.
They wouldn’t miss a spare tunic, right? After all, she only had the clothes on her back and what she could fit in her pack.
After so many years of doing this, she became known as one of the better dressed urchins in the city, yet no one could connect the dots as to why.
Eventually, Darcy does feel shameful about it because some of the clients she stole from weren’t much better off than she was. She tried to stop herself, but her curiosity usually got the better of her.
✨After The Nautiloid…✨
Don’t worry, Darcy knows her colleagues only have the clothes on their backs. She’s not rummaging through any more closets.
However…
She will open every. Single. Bag. Or. Crate. Or. Bin. Just to see what’s inside.
If there isn’t anything she hasn’t opened, it’s just because she hasn’t noticed it yet.
I guess I wouldn’t say the others find it shameful… mostly just annoying. Sometimes she’ll join battles late because she’s elbow deep in a barrel of gods-knows-what because she’s trying to find some buried treasure or whatnot.
There’s nothing that she specifically collects on the road to Baldur’s Gate, she just likes to see what’s available.
Oh. And she has a huge hoarding problem.
She’ll collect things she thinks will sell well but then forgets that she has them.
It makes looking for important things nearly impossible. But no one else in her party wants to carry them so looks like she has to!
Her party had an intervention for her at Last Light Inn, led by Jaheira herself

Hi hello, dear Kelandrin! I’m still workshopping the lore for my Tavs, bwahaha! Sorry for the late response. Thank you for the ask! 🩵
Some general info about Velric’s younger brother...
There's a large age gap between them.
He’s quite mild tempered, intelligent, and is a very kind-hearted soul.
He loves gardening, cooking, and horseback riding.
He has the worst sea legs. (Despite this, he can still sail a boat pretty well....his stomach won't be happy about it...but he can do it...)
Later on, he became a cleric of Lathander, and a noble adventurer in his own right.
He serves as the healer of his adventuring troupe. He's not one for meaningless violence, but will 100% mace evil's face. Meaningful violence is OK.
While he vehemently detests Velric’s life choices, he cannot bring himself to truly hate his older brother.
If you were to ask Velric, he’d say Virgil is, and always will be, the better man of the two of them.

style of combat ➺ responsible for crowd control (and to feed their patron). whips out their sword when an enemy makes the mistake of closing contact. utilizes Eldritch Blast for knocking enemies away from them and their party members (especially their love interest. they're protective like that)
most prized possession ➺ their freedom... and i guess this dress Astarion custom-ordered for them for the Archduke's coronation
deepest desire ➺ to meet their father
guilty pleasure ➺ restricted arcana knowledge. they'd do anything just to get their hands on forbidden magical books. Gale has competition in camp.
best-kept secret ➺ terrible. at. math.
greatest strength ➺ fast learner

Oh man. So a lot of the obvious ones are out, those are plot relevant 😅 hmmm…one of them is that she although she’s got some mixed feelings about Sharess’ Caress, she looks back fondly on her time there, even if she wouldn’t do it again.
Also that she’s going to find Cazador hot when we get to him. That’s the sort of shit you take to the grave if you’re dating Astarion 🤣

Babs: she traveled with Eloquence, scamming and stealing and scheming, she’s got the criminal background after all!!
Virgil: no, being stuck reading and reading and reading about your family history doesn’t give you much time for the outside lol
15: any sentimental items?
babs: she’s got sticky fingers, so i think she’d probably have lots of little things and trinkets from her travels
virgil: he’s got a ring from his dad that makes it harder for the ghosts to get to him, he’s never without it unless he’s trying to prove the validity of the ghosts, then he slips it off and lets one of them posses him to prove it, or if he needs them to posses him for any other reason, they have an agreement it’s weird lol

13) Of course she is lol. Minty doesn't always think stuff through when she wants something. Everyone judges her for it, as they should. Gale has probably yelled at her to not lick a lot of stuff.
20) It'd probably be Karlach. They'd roughhouse (once Karlach could touch) and tell each other terrible jokes. They make each other laugh which was the basis of their friendship.
23) In her case, they came to her as her dad, which was ultra upsetting. She knew it wasn't him, but it was hard to reject him all the same.

7. Does your Tav have connections to other characters (I.e.: NPCs)?
She doesn't have any connections backstory-wise, but she becomes close with Dammon and Omeluum, as well as all the tieflings just as a tiefling herself.
15. Does your Tav use their Arcana knowledge to free Shadowheart or do they use the rune found in the next room?
Rhoz definitely used the rune. She's got like a -1 intelligence lol. But she wasn't going to leave someone behind if she could help it.
24. How does your Tav feel about Mol and her friends?
Rhoz loves those kids so friggin much. It's literally the "if anything happen to them, I'd kill everyone in this room, and then myself" meme. She wishes they could have normal lives and act like kids, and not have had to grow up so fast to survive.
52. What does your Tav think of Dame Aylin?
Rhoz short circuited when she first met Dame Aylin. She already knew she's pan, but Dame Aylin still made her question everything. Big, buff, angry, righteous women are just her type, I guess, lol.
83. Does your Tav reunite with Mayrina? Do they fight Auntie Ethel? Do they save Vanra?
Yes, yes, and yes. The first time Rhoz and company fought Auntie Ethel in Baldur's Gate, I messed up and killed her without saving Vanra, just because I misunderstood the mechanic. I reloaded and beat her again so I could save Vanra.
93. What do you think happens to the party, afterwards? Do they go for drinks? Do they go their separate ways?
In my perfect ending, Rhoz, Wyll, and Karlach go to Avernus together to take on the hells and find a solution for Karlach... but that's not how things turned out. Rhoz parted ways with Mindflayer!Karlach. Rhoz knew that that wasn't the woman she loved anymore and it broke Rhozwen to do so (and me 😭). I think Rhoz would still accompany Wyll and they would stay close. She would also help Astarion establish the vampires in the Underdark. I don't think her and Gale or Halsin stay close. She just never really clicked with either of them. She'd definitely visit Jaheira in Baldur's Gate all the time. I don't know if she'd be able to keep in touch with Lae'zel, but she'd really want to. That's her home girl fighting up in the stars.
104. Who did your Tav romance? How did this romance develop throughout the game? What happened at the end?
Oh gosh, what can I say about Rhoz and Karlach? And how can I condense it into an ask?
Rhoz obviously romanced Karlach. That was such a given from the moment we met her. Their relationship at the start was (excuse the pun) hot, with the only thing being on either of their minds "fix Karlach so we can smooch." After that is when they started to fall in love.
Their relationship struggled when it came to Karlach dying or returning to Avernus. Rhoz desperately wanted her to go back to the hells, buy time, but Karlach is, well, Karlach. The arguments almost ended their relationship, but Rhoz finally accepted Karlach's wishes. They were going to live as much and as good as they could with the time Karlach had left.
And then the Mind Flayer decision happened. Rhoz hated the idea, but again accepted what Karlach wanted, and was hopeful that the Karlach she knew would remain. It quickly became clear though, that once Karlach became a Mind Flayer, that the woman she loved was gone. Rhoz ended their relationship after the final battle, though in her mind, their relationship ended when Karlach accepted the tadpole.
It was... not at all what I was hoping for. I'm honestly really upset that this is considered the "best" ending for Karlach. They really couldn't dream up anything else for her?
I can imagine Rhoz turning to Dammon, as someone who also knew Karlach and their situation, and them becoming close in the aftermath. Whether it's romantic or not, time will tell.

Oh jeez, that's a tough one.
Probably Haseley because he's got like actual skills that will survive in a capitalist landscape, but I wonder if he's such a traditionalist that he continues to bow hunt and refuses to learn how to shoot a gun.
Kiander would probably join the military.
Huxley would probably join the circus.
So I think all of them.

From this ask game.
Gonna answer for my druid folk hero Safiel since I just finished the game with her!
2. Does your Tav have any siblings? Are they close?
Safiel was raised in a free love hippie commune druid circle made up of mostly wood elves and a few humans and halflings. They all kind of raised the kids collectively, and the kids considered each other siblings, as wood elves tend to live a long time and aren't usually monogamous. (Her parents were mostly monogamous but not super strict about it.) So I'm not sure I've decided if she has any full-blood siblings, but they didn't really make a huge deal about whose kids came from who - like they knew who was blood related but it was just whatever.
All that to say, she considered a bunch of kids born around the same time as her to be her siblings, and when they grew up around 5-10 of them formed a traveling band of do-gooder heroes that roved the outskirts of Baldur's Gate. So yeah, she loves them and cares about them! But it was fluid and they had your typical sibling disagreements and differences of opinion.
5. Is your Tav religious? Were they raised that way?
Safiel pays respects to the druidic gods, Silvanus and Chauntea, but feels most connected to Mielikki, the half-elven goddess called Lady of the Forest. It's nothing as formal or close as, say, Halsin, but she does acknowledge them and honor them.
15. Do they have any sentimental items?
Had to think about this, but I think she has a wooden charm carved by her mother that she wears as a necklace.
23. Share any hcs/anything you want to say about your Tav's backstory.
Her eyes were two different colors even before she let Volo anywhere near her. Her parents took it as a sign at birth that she could see both present and future; half of her human, rooted in the here and now, and half elven, concerned with higher matters of destiny and balance. That she would roam far reaches, but always return home. Thus she embodied her family name of Farspirit.
Before being tadpoled, she was in a poly relationship with two friends she'd had from childhood who were members of her travelling band. But they grew apart, as the other two grew closer and wanted to settle down and have a family. Safiel didn't, so they left the group and moved to a farm near Baldur's Gate. She still thinks of them fondly and they exchange letters.
Her two favorite wild shapes are cat (more often when she was in the city) and wolf, as she always liked being a member of a group.
She had heard of Halsin long before meeting him, his name mentioned occasionally back home as a respected Archdruid, and couldn't believe it when she actually got to meet THE Halsin. It embarrassed him a little lol

In a desperate attempt to keep this short, I will do #19 only for the three Tavs that have actually appeared on my blog and #23 only for Caradoc because he is the one I have most material on.
19. Any memories that stick out to you/your Tav about their life pre-tadpole?
Caradoc:
Around a year before the tadpole, it’s technically night but the birds are already singing outside, he’s drunk at the bakery his best friend works at. Their other close friend Kava has just left Baldur’s Gate like every summer to collect new material, new tales and new songs. Like every summer they are deeply aware that this might be the year she doesn’t come back. He’s looking at Felix, a Deep Gnome who almost was a Paladin but instead ran from the Underdark all the way to Baldur’s Gate, where he is now putting a fourth tray of bread in the oven, like every other night.
Caradoc wonders aloud how it must feel to love something so much you keep almost dying for it. Felix just snorts and says almost dying for things is vastly overrated. In his personal experience, their life would not be better if they almost died on a daily basis. His boss might suck but it is way better than a Duergar slaver. Or a Drow.
Caradoc doesn’t say anything because it’s four in the morning and he is drunk as hell and he doesn’t know how to explain that he is a Tiefling and a Wild Sorcerer and he loves his family and he loves his friends and his community and he even loves his job and he knows he is lucky but sometimes. Sometimes. He would like for his life to not be just about keeping his head down and getting from one day to the next.
Elendris:
Forty years after his marriage, ten years after his divorce, ten years before the tadpole, he is working alone at his workshop on a special sword he has been obsessing about for months, he is tired and sleep deprived and accidentally hits his hand. He drops everything immediately and as he is healing himself and feeling relieved that it’s nothing serious he remembers that before his wife used to heal him herself and take him to bed. He is one hundred and forty years old and she left because him because he is incapable of love. He will die alone.
Cedric:
It’s not a specific memory, but a promise. His parents died when he was around six, he ran away from the orphanage he was in when he was around nine and after a year of living on the streets he was taken in by a dragonborn druid who took pity on him and started training him. And he loved it - he liked that it made him feel close to his wood elf father, he liked that when he was a crow no one thought he was a girl, he liked that someone cared and he especially liked that his master was going to go back to his grove with him. It was a promise of a place where everything could be well and he could finally belong.
Then his master was robbed and murdered in the streets when he was thirteen and his choices were being a criminal with money or an honest man without it, which is not really a choice. The grove is not a promise anymore - just a dream. They would not approve of how he is using Silvanus’ gifts anyway.
23. Share any hcs/anything you want to say about your Tav’s backstory
Caradoc is a Mephistopheles Tiefling from his father’s side and while the details got lost during the way, they are pretty sure The Ancestor Who Fucked Up was a wizard in Thay (who then, presumably, was using his Tiefling children as slaves). Because when I read Mephistophele I think Faust.
While Caradoc was happy being Just Some Guy he did sometimes feel bitter about the fact that having to not “stand out” wasn’t exactly a choice. First, he is a Tiefling. Second, he is a Wild Sorcerer. Third, he is poor. There is a reason he learnt to bullshit like a pro.
Caradoc has three parents! His biological parents are both Tieflings and moved to Baldur’s Gate specifically so their children would face less discrimination and they could find a community with other Tieflings and similar Others. His human father is a ranger and gave him his surname and his name. The official story when they attract unwanted attention is that his human father is living with them because he is a dear family friend who lost a leg during a job.
Caradoc’s best friends before the tadpole are a Deep Gnome called Felix who left the Underdark “Because it sucks” and a dragonborn bard called Kava who moved to Baldur’s Gate to pursue her calling. He and Felix are also roommates. He can’t wait for them to meet his new best friends from tadpole times.
Caradoc’s contacts in the city aren't useful when it comes to defeating the Netherbrain but they are amazing after the battle is done. He can get the rest of the Tiefling refugees out of Wyrm’s Crossing and his friends don’t have to be homeless (although Felix had a heart attack when his best friend reappeared after going missing for weeks with a wizard and a vampire in tow).
He really likes dancing and he and his friends regularly went to a specific tavern in his neighborhood for it. He sometimes day dreamed of doing it with a partner but he never really fell in love before the tadpole. Gale is in for a treat.
He never told Wyll until Act 3, but like. Fuck the Fists. Little Caradoc did not have a good time with the Fists.

Dreya: she’s a simple woman, she wants simple things. like a thumb up her ass.
Stassie: she likes it when Rolan gets real desperate and digs his claws into her skin, leaving marks all over her body that she’ll have to awkwardly explain later
Elias: loves to pull on hair, and a little bit of choking if his partner is into it. pull on his hair too and see what happens.
23. Least favorite thing/part about sex — cleanup, setup, etc.
Taversia: definitely cleanup. if she and Gale are caught up in the moment and forget to lay out a proper towel, they’re in for a hot mess.
Mythrae: throughout her story, sex would always make her very anxious, which is why she avoided it for a while. now she doesn’t really have a least favorite thing.
Divya: the fact that other people can hear them going at it. no matter how hard she tries, she and Wyll are always loud. they can’t help it!
Salome: she only hates that she can’t have sex more often. she’d go multiple times a day if she could get the chance.
Dreya: finding a good partner to do it with. she’s had many one night stands because she can’t find someone who meets her needs.
Stassie: she can’t really pull Rolan out of his tower, so they usually end up getting freaky at his desk. a girl needs some variety!!!
Elias: he can get in the mood from a slight breeze, so having to wait for privacy can frustrate him
