You try to evade one mom and end up with two, who even when you're old enough to have GREY HAIR COMING IN are STILL having gossipy tea parties together where they discuss you in depth.
With the God of Death sometimes there too, just for fun.
And he loves them both to pieces, I know, but in the moment, rambunctious adolescent Gale must have already been aware that the God's fully intended to spend his existence fucking with him
