I've seen Kamen Rider W (I loved it) and am currently watching Gaim, so which should I go for next? This is kind of a random handful of ones I'm most interested in. If you have a case to make for another one then put it in a reply :)

Watching kamen rider specifically because of the upcoming joseimuke IS backwards I realize this but I prommy the series has been in my peripheral for years since so many transformers fans are also tokusatsu fans... I've always kind of WANTED to get into it but never really had any particular prompting to. So like ride kamens was just the catalyst for something that's been a long time coming u feel.

ok funniest thing about getting into kamen rider because of the ride kamens announcement is realizing that the things im enjoying the most about kamen rider are NOT the things i want from a joseimuke animeboygame. so it has actively made me less interested in ride kamens. a YA-targeted cast of shippable ikemen from a gacha game is not allowed to sell me plastic crap toys. thats shallow and greedy and capitalism at its worst. but the childrens show characters can and should be trying to sell me plastic crap toys. its like their whole job. if they dont try to sell me plastic crap toys i start getting disappointed and wondering if they really love me

Philip is relatable he was like "have you guys heard of mt Fuji it's 10,000 years old" and I was immediately like "no way Fuji is only 10,000 years old???" and stopped the show to open wikipedia

I'm so grateful that the kuuga episode after Godai dies has so much cute character comedy I need this after the emotional rollercoaster 😭

Kamen Rider Kuuga is awesome so far. Cannot imagine being a grad student and having to write a thesis while simultaneously having to help Kamen Rider save the world. The episode where Sakurako pulls a caffeine-fueled all-nighter is the most realistic thing I've ever seen

Ok. Confession. I don't think I can watch kamen rider ooo right now. Not because it's bad. The opposite. It's good. It's too good. I watched 4 episodes and adored them. It gives me the exact same delightful vibes as W did. It makes me really happy just to watch it. And I want to save that. I'm going to go watch series from other eras. And I will enjoy them much more knowing that I will have more delightful heisei 2 monster of the week shenanigans to come back to later. So I am skipping ooo for now and going to the poll second place finisher (Kuuga)

I liked kamen rider w SO MUCH that after I finished it i was like "OH BOY WHICH KAMEN RIDER DO I WATCH NEXT!" and I saw Gaim was written by urobuchi and had what seemed to be a batshit premise so i was like cool awesome I'll watch gaim! and well I am 8 episodes in and am wondering if this ever gets good or what.

Ok I'm a bit over halfway through Kamen Rider W right now and I love it so much. I love the ridiculous action and the dopant designs and especially I love the little robot animals. I will certainly be watching more of these series because I know things like this are more or less constant. But character-wise for this one I think my enjoyment of the show hinges on Philip lol. if he doesn't get to do enough for a couple episodes then I start feeling like "where's Philip... Philip come back..." Like I need a steady stream of Philip Cute Moments injected directly into my bloodstream or I stop paying attention. Top two Philip Cute Moments were when he had the dog kigurumi and when he was disguised as Wakana. Contender for third was when he was wearing that long plaid jacket even if he wasn't actually doing anything in particular just bc he looked so cozy. I want that jacket

I just watched the defunctland American Idol video and now the episode of kamen rider I'm on is an American Idol parody. Huh. What. What message is the universe trying to convey to me rn
