A very large green-eyed, golden tabby tom with a thick ruff of fur around his neck like a mane. His tail and paws are very fluffy and he was renamed for his resemblance to the warriors of LionClan.

Lionheart was a well-meaning and boisterous tom who could be rowdy and rambunctious. As a mentor, he was kind and patient and had a good sense of humor. Lionheart was known to prank or tease his apprentices and was expected to be an amazing lecturer at Gatherings where he told tales of the old with great energy and even better voices that captivated even full-grown warriors. Everyone knew that when he retired, he would be one of ThunderClan’s greatest lecturers.

Lionheart was pleased when he received Graypaw as an apprentice despite his teasing and lackadaisical attitude. Graypaw reminded him a lot of himself when he was younger and he fully believed that he’d be a grand warrior.

Cats o the Meadow: Snowblossom

Name: Snowblossom

Meaning: Mostly white and growing into their own

Identity: Cisgender Molly - She/Her

Orientation: Heterosexual

A primarily white blue pointed molly with a big heart and a trusting demeanor.

Though she loves her sister, Snowblossom spent a lot of time frustrated with Bluedawn’s competitive nature. Although she eventually understood that playful competition was how her sister expressed her adoration for her, as apprentices she felt like Bluepaw was always attempting to one up her.

Despite her claims otherwise, Snowblossom was as stubborn and hard-headed as her sister could be. Once she'd come to a conclusion, he stuck to it for better or for worse. She's been known to double down on the strangest hills leading to fights and arguments. Contrary to most cats' perception, Snowblossom started many of the arguments she and her sister had and only ever apologized when they were in private.

When their mother passed, Snowblossom was devastated. She was closer to both of their parents than she felt Bluedawn was and her sister's blank and cool demeaner led to her accusing her sister of not caring about their mother.

Feeling alone and abandoned, Snowblossom grew increasingly closer to Thistleclaw who encouraged her to work out her despair and anger in her training. She further distanced herself from her sister and their friend, Thrushpelt when they began accusing Thistleclaw of needless violence and that Snowblossom was going a similar way. She shut down all conversation regarding Thistleclaw's behavior- she felt further assured in her beliefs when Rosetail sided with her.

By the time Snowblossom swapped to becoming a hunter, she and Bluedawn were barely on speaking terms. Though this hurt, she thought it was necessary to protect her mate from her sister. She was wary of letting Bluedawn meet her son, worried her attitude towards his father would color her opinion but her sister loved her nephew. They reconciled with the help of Whitekit but Snowblossom began to finally consider Bluedawn's perspective when it was clear she didn't hate Thistleclaw just to hate him.

Snowblossom eventually died to an aggressive young boar that had begun to inhabit the area around Snakerocks. As she fought for her life alongside ShadowClan of all cats, she felt immense regret that she wouldn't be able to raise her son and that she'd spent so long fighting with her sister.

From the Meadow, she watched in horror and despair as Thistleclaw launched a harassment campaign blaming Bluedawn for her death.

Cats of ThunderClan: Minkbelly

Name: Minkbelly

Other Names: N/A

Meaning: Black Furred and Provider

Identity: Cisgender Tom - He/Him

Orientation: Bisexual - Molly Leaning

Rank: Elder - Retiree

A medium furred, black smoke tom with a white chest and belly. Minkbelly has gentle yellow eyes with thicker fur across his belly. His prefix comes from both his coat-color and his mother feeling romantic and naming her son after his father - something Minkbelly was fairly proud of. Minkbelly is sometimes ridiculed for his laid back demeanor, many cats accusing him of being lazy or generally inattentive with the goings-on of the clan. Neither statement is true - Minkbelly is a very dedicated cat and he keeps up with everything going on; he just prefers to not get involved with the worst of the drama and believes that now that he’s officially retired, he should be allowed to enjoy that retirement to the fullest. He’s widely remarked to be among the most favorite elder to care for among the apprentices given that he’s patience, funny and doesn’t snap at them for little mistakes; merely correcting them and moving on.

Minkbelly is fairly loose with his worship of the Souls, going through the more public motions when he must but tending to allow the more personal aspects to fall to the wayside. It’s not that he doesn’t believe but rather, he doesn’t think it makes sense to be so tightly wound to the old traditions. This also makes him a favorite among outsider born warriors as he’s quick to accept their own quirks and traditions that they bring in with minimal harassment.

He trained well as a hunter for a long while but after training his first and only apprentice in Whitestorm, he decided the role wasn’t for him. He swapped ranks becoming a Sitter where he grew close to the cats that lurked there and enjoyed looking after the little kits that bounded rambunctiously about the nursery until it was time they moved on.

Minkbelly came together with Goldenflower as a favor to a friend and a respected warrior when she approached him with the desire to raise kits. Minkbelly agreed happily - he and Goldenflower had tried courting at one point but felt they were better off as friends and he knew her well enough to know she’d be a wonderful mother. Though officially Minkbelly isn’t Lynxcackle and Swifttalon’s father, he acted as one and when he dies; the clan fully intends to bury him with a pair of kit totems painted in their image.

When Fireheart became deputy, he was one of the most supportive elders. He defended him fiercely from those that still had their noses in their rears about him and adored his nephew; Cloudywing.

Minkbelly passed during the fire that raged through ThunderClan territory, dying as he lived; loving his clan with every fiber of his being. Instead of running to safety, he attempted to drag his friend to safety and ended up suffocating from the smoke that filled his lungs. Minkbelly is somewhat sad to have passed while Tigerclaw still breathed but he knows the vile tom would be taken down and so went willing to take his place within the Starlit Meadows.

Cats of ThunderClan: Goldenflower

Name: Goldenflower

Meaning: Golden furred and Delicate

Identity: Cisgender Molly - She/Her

Goldenflower is a mostly golden long furred cryptic tortie molly with yellow eyes and paler stripes. The molly is very loving and caring towards her kits- she’s also incredibly defensive of them. A sharp tongued and somewhat rude cat, Goldenflower was very respected by her fellow clanmates although she’s not very popular with cats who’ve previously been on the receiving end of her tongue. Although her name isn’t the most fitting, she’s pleased to be named after her late mother whom she misses dearly and wears the suffix -flower with pride.

Not many cats were surprised when Goldenflower announced that she would be staying in the nursery after Swiftpaw and Lynxpaw became apprentices. Everyone had seen the way she practically glowed when surrounded by kits and even before she'd switched, she'd long since begun learning about names and proper kit-care.

Goldenflower was practically glowing when Lynxcackle received her warrior name and she's willing to brag to anyone willing to listen about how amazing her kits are. She can't wait for Swiftpaw to earn his warrior name and hopes that it's as fitting and well-chosen as his sister's.

She was devastated by the revelation of Tigerclaw's treachery and her mind is swimming with confusion. Did Tigerclaw ever care about her? He spent moon after moon courting her and he'd seemed genuine - what about their kits? Did he even care about them or were they secondary to his plan for revenge too? Goldenflower is paranoid that ThunderClan will punish her kits for being Tigerclaw's - or worse, that Tigerclaw will come back and try to steal them from her.

Her approach to this is to shut down - she won't talk about Tigerclaw to almost anyone and has already decided not to tell her kits about their father. This strategy has resulted in some isolation and disapproval from her clanmates but Goldenflower just curls up tighter and tighter.

Goldenflower found kinship and warmth in the loner, Hound who brought in her daughter and a sad story. Even as Goldenflower struggled to reconnect with her clan, Hound was a stable and steadying presence in her life. The tipping point for their friendship was Hound stepping in when Goldenflower attempted to make Fireheart tell her kits the truth about their father - although she’d been hurt and blinded with pain at the time, she realized that Hound had been right about her internalizing her fear and passing it on to Fireheart.

Seeing Tigerstar trespassing so deep in ThunderClan territory so soon after telling her kits the truth about their sire sent waves of rage and fury boiling through her veins. She’s not sure what she was expecting but it wasn’t that Tigerstar would kill her. Still, she’s satisfied that he didn’t get away with it completely free - he was bleeding and stumbling off. She’s proud of herself when she finds out that she took a life from him and is grateful to Fireheart and Hound for stepping up and deciding to look out for her kits when they didn’t need to.

Name: Rosetail

Identity: Cisgender Molly - She/Her

Orientation: Heterosexual

A silver-gray classic tabby molly with an unusual bright ginger tail. Rosetail is very proud of her tail and many cats remark that it’s the most well groomed part of her- she takes very good care of it. Rosetail is a romantic, always interested in love stories and tales of charming toms and cheeky mollies.

Though she never officially took a mate herself, many cats suspect that she’d been seeing a cat of the Shining Sun before Pinestar’s retirement and the ensuing suspicion directed towards the Shining Sun hit her hard.

Though she can have her head in the clouds, Rosetail is a highly skilled cat more than capable of giving someone severe wounds when pressed. The death of her sister hit her hard when she was an apprentice and as a result, she clung tighter to her brother- something that was thoroughly unwanted by the cat in question.

Rosetail sided with Snowblossom against Bluesdawn regarding Thistleclaw’s behavior albeit she was more gentle, insisting that her brother was just a stubborn tom. Only when Thistleclaw began consistently harassing Bluedawn over Snowblossom’s death did she see the truth.
