December end is always a busy time with the hotel streaming with year-end holidayers and it flows into the new year. Then comes that moment we eagerly wait for, our customary winter hols! Time away from the freezing cold, time away from 24*7 firefighting, time for late mornings, time for ourselves, time to explore new places, time for some city-life, time in the warm climes! And this time our chosen home was Kerala, where our ancestors lived, where we spent our childhood summers, where our roots belonged. . As I reminisce how the last month in God's own county has whizzed past, I'm enveloped in the warmth of this place, literally! However much I tried, my spoilt mountain self could not come to terms with the heat and humidity! And this was winter in Kerala. Having said that Kerala blew me away in every way possible. I'm pretty much sold to setting up a permanent winter home there😉! .
