Streetcar 1079 was built in 1946 and originally operated in Minneapolis. Now in #sanfrancisco it wears the tribute livery of Detroit. In the background is the Southern Pacific Building (built 1927) and the Hyatt Regency (built 1973). And of course Justin Herman Plaza (which opened in 1972 and could possibly be renamed after Maya Angelou.) I love how multiple eras mesh in The City by the Bay! #ourcity #embarcadero #fmarketandwharves #streetcar #streetphotography #photographercurley #urbanphotographer #nikonshooter
