Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia Strago and Ashe Banner

The Lotsa Lore event just started in the Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO) mobile game. This event came with 1 banner.

Lotsa Lore Banner

The Lotsa Lore banner features the following chars and their weapons:

Strago Magus from Final Fantasy VI - 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD

Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca from Final Fantasy XII - 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD

Relm Arrowny from Final Fantasy VI - 15cp, 35cp, and Ex

Eald'narche from Final Fantasy XI - Burst or BT only

My Relm’s 15cp and 35cp are fully MLB. Her Ex has been limit broken twice.

My Eald'narche isn’t built at all. IIRC, have copies of his 15cp and 35cp but neither are MLB. Missing his Ex, LD, and BT.

Have 1 copy each of Strago’s 15cp and 35cp but neither are MLB. His Ex has been limit broken once. Missing his LD.

Ashe’s 15cp, 35cp, and Ex are fully MLB. Her Ex has been Purpled or at Ex+ 3/3. Missing her LD.

Thoughts about Strago Magus and Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca

Heard lots of pretty good things about both Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca from Final Fantasy XII (#ad) and Strago Magus from Final Fantasy VI, so was kinda interested in the Lotsa Lore banner, primarily for Ashe.

Ashe is a support who can heal and has some pretty decent buffs and auras. After using her LD, she gets this HP attack called Queen’s Order which pulls the turns of her allies forward so they’ll be able to move right after her. This move will also fully charge the Ex ability of her allies. Ashe can paralyze 1 enemy with her Ex ability.

Strago’s a DPS who shines when there are multiple enemies. He can instantly break his opponents. He can dualcast his abilities.

Already have lots of DPS so wasn’t as interested in Strago but I certainly wouldn’t say no if I end up getting his weapons as well.

Could always use more supports and Ashe’s Ex-charging gimmick seems pretty cool and I already have her Purpled and built so would love to get her LD.

After pitying Bartz Klauser’s (from Final Fantasy V) Burst weapon though, I really can’t afford to spend gems on this banner so here’s to hoping that my tickets will pull through.

Lotsa Lore Banner Free First Multi-Draw Results

Thanks to the Summer Festival campaign celebration, we get a free multi-draw on the Lotsa Lore banner.

Unfortunately, that free draw didn’t give me a single LD. Got 4 golds but they were all dupes - Relm’s 15cp, 2 copies of Relm’s 35cp, and Strago’s 35cp.

At least I can use this copy of Strago’s 35cp to limit break the one that I already have.

Lotsa Lore Banner Tickets Pulls Results

Currently have 305 tickets on hand.

My first 10-draw was absolute trash. Didn’t even get a single gold. There’s no +1 or guarantee with tickets, but still. It sucks to see such a crappy draw result.

My second 10-draw was much better although I wouldn’t have thought so at all since I didn’t even get a gold orb.

And all the items that showed up were either bronze or silver until the last which was gold and which turned out to be -

My very first copy of Strago’s LD. Hell, yes!

This may not have been my main target but was still pleased to see this. Now I have all of Strago’s weapons. Just need to MLB them and build him.

After that draw though, things kinda went downhill since I mostly got blue orbs that mostly contained bronze and silver trash. Didn’t even get an Ex dupe.

Also only got like 1 or 2 or so 15cp and 35cp and they belonged to Relm so couldn’t even use them to MLB Strago’s gear. It got to the point that I didn’t even bother taking screenshots anymore because the results were so bad.

Then, a bit later on, I got a gold orb. This gave me 2 golds - a dupe of Ashe’s 35cp and my very first copy of Ashe’s LD.

Hell, yes! Super pleased to see this. With how bad my previous 10-draws had been, I thought that I wouldn’t be seeing Ashe’s LD anytime soon, or at all. So glad that wasn’t the case at all.

After getting Ashe’s LD, still have 225 tickets left which is definitely nice. I think I’ll toss them on Iroha’s (from Final Fantasy XI) banner which is coming very soon. She’s a support too though she works differently from Ashe.

Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca from Final Fantasy XII

Spent the Power Stones needed to fully MLB Ashe’s LD to get its passive. Got her Bloom Stone, and all of her Summon Boards have been completed.

Also decided to get her LD Boards but couldn’t justify spending the resources to get the Boards for her 15cp, 35cp, and Ex. Ahh, if only the resources to get these weren’t so scarce, then I’d gladly finish all of her Boards.

Also couldn’t justify spending the Tokens to get Ashe’s High Armor since that resource was scarce as well.

I don’t know if I’ll be able to use Ashe on a lot of Lufenia (level 200) quests. I do want to use her on the Lotsa Lore Lufenia quest, especially since she’s synergy there. I’ll see if she can work in her current state before upgrading her further.

Strago Magus from Final Fantasy VI

Was debating on what to do about Strago. Like I said, I already have a lot of DPS so I don’t even see myself using him on the Lotsa Lore Lufenia quest where he’s synergy.

At most, I’ll likely only be using him for the Lotsa Lore Challenge Quest so it didn’t seem wise to fully build him.

At first, I just fully MLB’d Strago’s LD to get its passive. Then I spent only the points necessary to get his LD Call. Later, I decided to fully complete his LD Boards.

Finished all of Strago’s Summon Boards and bought his Bloom Stone. Also fully MLB’d his 15cp and 35cp. It was a bit later on when I did the same for his Ex and then I also spent the Book and Ingots needed to Realize and Purple it.

Update: much later, I also ended up fully finishing the rest of Strago’s Character Enhancement Boards. Still haven’t gotten his High Armor though.
