Shutterbug | Update 3
Development Duration: 24/02/20 - 06/03/20
Half way through the minimum viable product and everything is starting to feel like it’s coming together!
Environment
I’ve been suffering with an unhelpful prototyping area for too long, it’s time to make some assets!
Here’s a little sample of the ones I’ve made so far. I did a bit of experimenting with different styles and this low-poly with pixel art textures is what I landed on. I also built out a level using a combination of these assets and blocked out shapes, but in a more sensible layout.
Proof System
Up to this point the game has been a case of tracking down the cryptid in the world, taking a picture of them, and repeating this process. I have been trying to work out how I want to add another layer of depth to the game and my solution has been the proof system.
In order to get the cryptid to spawn (and to make your sightings believable) you will need to first find appropriate proof and photograph that. Eventually this will prompt the cryptid to spawn in the world. You then need to find the cryptid, take your photo and submit it alongside your proof. I’ve made a video of this process (note the green blobs are proof for mosstop, they will be proper assets eventually!)

Handbook
The handbook will be where all your cryptid information is kept. I added a little sliding panel this week, but fully intend to change the visuals here and the content as I add more data to be learned about each cryptid.
This sprint there’s also been a fair few bug fixes and other small tweaks.

Long Weekend & Software Project

Hello~!
First thing first, I would like to tell you a very short horror story, tomorrow is Monday. Of course, it is. After this 4-days holiday and tomorrow is Moanday.
In these remained hours before tomorrow, as usual, I sincerely want to give regular updates from our team.
Actually, in these updates we’ve got only Fithriannisa done something. One and only. She finished the UI for adding new admin feature. She is having herself busy on Computer Assisted Learning course now. Kinda final project things for that course.
Different person, different progress. The three of us (Saufi, Rif’at, and Nadiyah) currently have no progress.
Saufi is being occupied with the course which is so called Web Application Service.
Rif’at is mentally unstable doing things for Natural Language Processing course at the moment.
Me, Nadiyah, just back from vacation. I’m the only one free right here right now, causing myself doing the updates for this time.
Concurrently, we’ve got no news from Rahadyan.

The new Gin Sprint 3. The Sprint 3 just passed certifications as an intermediate EN-B wing in the medium size. Aimed at leisure, club and cross-country pilots, the Sprint 3 fits somewhere in between the Atlas and Carrera in Gin’s lineup. It will come in 6 sizes, 4 colors, and we should have the first shipment sometime before the early summer flying season. Stay tuned for more news on other sizes being certified and availability. Retrospective sprint 3
Met Excel hebben we 4 kollommen aangemaakt, namelijk:
1: hiermee moeten we stoppen
2: hiermee moeten we beginnen
3: hiermee moeten we doorgaan
4: shoutouts
We zijn bij deze retrospective tot de conclusie gekomen dat we nog beter met Git moeten leren werken en dat de minder goede programmeurs minder afhankelijk moeten worden van de betere. Veel dingen zoals de Daily Scrums en het communiceren zijn wel goed gegaan.
Onze verbeterpunten zijn:
Een offline database bijhouden; zo zijn we niet te afhankelijk van internet bij demonstraties
Duidelijke taakbeschrijvingen toevoegen, zodat het ten alle tijden duidelijk is wat er gedaan moet worden
