from Among Wolves, a seven-act play by Timothy Pachirat. Insane book. Pachirat puts eight real life ethnographers (and himself) in a barn along with a magic invisibility potion, a one-eyed wolfdog, and a trial for ethnographer Alice Goffman (who admits in her book to wanting to kill a potential research participant) -- and uses these intersecting set-ups to turn over ethnography this way and that and examine all its tensions.
