So Lucio’s new book came out!! so here I am celebrating it by doing a quickie drawing of my Arcana x Subnautica crossover! (I’m getting the gist for the Architects/Precursor anatomy so sorry for any anatomy mistakes). Zarahalt’s base doesn’t have a bathtub that fits the monstrosity that’s Lucio’s quadrupedal body. So he just MacGyver his way by sealing the very expensive, very resource costly Moonpool , probably yeeting the prawn suit that was inside and letting nature reclaim it back, and ta-da! Now they have a pool, something Zara doesn’t really need when they’re surrounded by a freaking ocean. But oh well, oopsies were made and there’s no point in arguing about the past, right? Zara doesn’t know If she should join him or kick his big quadrupedal ass . . .probably both. Small writting of what happened down here (by any means I don’t consider myself a good writer nor is english my first language but I enjoy doing this little “snips” with my drawings) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When she flicked the Moonpool’s lights what she didn’t expect to see was her “roommate” lazily hanging inside the water with his torso and arms resting on one of the pool’s edge. Lucio’s face instantly turned to the human’s direction, the mark on his face suddenly lighting up “Oh! You came! What do you think? Now we can both have a bath” Zarahalt’s pink eyes scanned her surroundings noticing, with horror, that the Moonpool was sealed at the bottom, the prawn suit was gone and so did the claws that kept it inside. The woman just paused, hands on her face as she took a deep breath gathering whatever patience she had left before answering the alien. “What happened to the prawn suit?” Her voice sounded tense and the massive alien could sense her growing irritation as he shifted his body uncomfortably. “Yeah about that...” Lucio trailed gently rubbing his neck “Don’t worry! I will find it later, okay? This won’t be an oopsie, I promise.” Zara rubbed her temples thinking about what to do next but before she could decide Lucio extended his golden hand, offering it to her. “Wanna join? The water is nice, or at least is better than the freezing sea” Zara sighed staring directly into the creature’s face. Without eyes nor mouth she couldn’t really read Lucio’s expression but the tone of his voice was enough to know how was he feeling and by the sounds of it he was expectant, waiting for her answer. With a nod Zara gently placed her hand above the golden palm which with an unseen speed grabbed onto her wrist, pulling her directly to the waters below with a loud splah. She barely had time to register what happened before two familiar hands scooped her up closer to Lucio’s body. The alien sighed content, or at least it did telepathy, as his arms surrounded the woman in a tight hug.”You dummy ass” Zara stifled a laughter resting her head on Lucio’s torso, closing her eyes as to not blind herself with the red light emitted by his markings. “That’s dummy thick ass to you, thank you very much~”
