just realized my spf has a white cast to it. my perfect shade of tinted moisturizer I guess.

person in the notes of that sunscreen poll was like “are people so afraid of aging that they wear sunscreen indoors??” lol no i just don’t want skin cancer. that is in fact the main reason why sunscreen is recommended for use. also the rays from the sun that can cause skin cancer can in fact penetrate through glass. 😭 wear spf

#like yeah sun damage can cause wrinkles but i’m not worried abt that i am worried abt cancer though #also. slightly related. no matter your skin tone you should be wearing spf 30 or higher!!!!!!!!#make sure to get your lips as well!!!!! and ears!!!#lips are difficult though especially if you are like me and a. have a sensitivity to chemical spf and b. have chronically dry lips #i’ve found exactly one spf 30 lipbalm that is mineral and doesn’t leave a white cast #it’s tinted but tinted exactly to my natural lip shade. which is so lucky #however it is a little drying so i put lotion on. then chapstick. then the spf #which layering spf on top of chapstick isn’t ideal but i cannot stand having chapped lips #so. whatever. i know i’m getting some protection. it’s fine.
