#been seeing complaints lately about too much eddie centric stuff#it’s crazy because i just scrolled through the first page of the steve/eddie ao3 tag#specifically looking for eddie stuff and every single last one was steve centric#i don’t know i always scratch my head when ppl say eddie is the favorite of steve/eddie#because since the beginning i’ve always looked for eddie centric stuff and it’s always always always been majority steve centric#ppl might crush on eddie more idk? but finding fics where he’s actually a character with depth is rare#he’s usually just there as the stand in perfect emotional crutch boyfriend or the worst person in the world#for steve angst whichever the author needs him to be 😭#idk this is just my experience but also the number of fics in steve focused tags has always been higher than the eddie focused ones idk
