the way the fandom like. makes all these angsty art pieces and jokes and animatics of Wukong doing a murder and people in the comments go "ow! how could you" or "the angst is getting to me" or "haha! wukong did a murder!"
and then if you ever take that (somewhat widely accepted) concept and put it into a realistic context and like. act as if it actually happened, oh no, you can't do that! we can't have Wukong doing a wrong!
so like, what do people want? Do we just want the murder to be played up for laughs, or are we actually gonna acknowledge it? because imo, treating it simply as a joke and ignoring it otherwise is Not the move.

I didn't think I had to do something like this but I'm pretty fucking mad.
Don't be like this person.
Not only had this person not voted on my book, or bookmarked it, idk if they followed me before I blocked them but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't - my book LITERALLY HAD NO TAGS about Marco the Phoenix being in this book AND my rules about Kinktober 2023 explicitly said I was only writing for 5 blorbos on the bingo board, and this person still felt it was their personal responsibility to leave this comment.
Reader entitlement is a dangerous slope that has gotten progressively worse, and I am tired of being the victim of it, and I'm DEAD TIRED of seeing my writer friends receiving shit like this too. We PROVIDE FREE FICS - full stop. If your comments are anything less than thank you for writing about this character or thank you for even bothering to do this, SHUT THE FUCK UP.
I'm sorry to everyone else but I've HAD IT. I've seen too many of my friends get harassed and straight up bullied from readers who aren't appreciative of the fact that we churn out content for everyone's enjoyment just because it doesn't hit all the right spots for them specifically. If you want content that you don't see your favorite writers writing about - either write it yourself, or use your brains to google search the content you explicitly want instead of making it an author's problem.
To those who silently/privately enjoy our works and support from behind your screens with a vote/bookmark/follow - I apologize profusely. You are not the problem and I am sorry to have deflated any excitement for an update and got this instead. I still plan to post tonight for Zoro.
To those who are expressive in their positive support through sharing our works, commenting nice things, and generally not being a scumbag - I am shoving homemade cookies through my screen in the hopes that you receive them. A smooch and a hug for you.

I guess responding took me a while (oops XD, sorry @cassandrasdreamworlds I swear I didn't forget, nor am I mad at you for tagging me) in a bit of a fic sharing challenge. (also here's a link to their post too, it contains excellent fics for your perusal)
Apparently the idea is to share links for various of your works, based on certain criteria as a way to encourage some self promo (which I'm pretty bad at most of the time, so this should be fun).

MOST HITS: Echoes of the Past - a 7 chapter DP x DC crossover fic, featuring Bruce, Barry, Danny, Jason Danny. Notable tags include, Adopted Danny Fenton, some memory loss, and Lazarus pit shenanigang. Rated T largely for language and themes of death. This is a fic I still hold near and dear to my heart.
MOST KUDOS: Falling like Dominos - a DP x DC oneshot identity reveal fic where Danny works for the JLA. I honestly didn't think this one felt finished when I posted it, but people really seem to enjoy it. Rated T, again for language.
MOST COMMENTS: Without a Compass, Without a Map - wins this, with the second most comment threads, but gets to be on this list because Echoes of the Past already won most hits. it's a DC x Marvel crossover fic, and part 6 in a larger series. It features Wade Wilson, Matt Murdock, Peter Parker, and the Bats. Notable tags include dimensional travel, team red, and Peter Parker/Tim Drake. It's still ongoing, and rater T for language.
MOST BOOKMARKS: In the Pits - my 3rd most bookmarked fic, beaten out by Echoes and Dominos, but since those have both been mentioned, this one gets linked here. It's a DP x DC crossover fic featuring Danny Fenton and Jason Todd. It's rated General Audiences, but does contain Major Character Death (or more accurately, major character undeath, since this is Jason Todd after all).
MOST WORDS: Half a Secret - again it's technically third place, following Echoes and Compass, but this is another fic i love with all my heart, and still really want to write a sequel for. Possibly once Without a Compass is finished. It's a Criminal Minds x DC crossover, and focuses on Damian as a member of the BAU, traveling to Gotham with the team and being faced by one of the cities oldest underground groups.
LEAST WORDS: Walk - I wrote this one last October, when I challenged myself to write a fic-a-day. It's wild to see how far I've come since writing that, in less than a year. It's a short and sweet DC/Batfam Gen fic themed around Halloween, and dressing up.
Tagging: Hmm, I have to admit this is hard, especially because I'll probably worry about being annoying, but @marirah @oliocelottafanfics @darbydoo22 I'm tagging you three in (and hoping ya'll don't mind XD)
