i wonder if i got a virtual machine running some manner of 80's OS (not sure which i would pick...), and then got my hands on compatible video editing software, if i could then make my own Period-Accurate Analogue Horror film. rather than trying to fuckn. Buy Equipment.
#rotating it in my mind listening to a video on the series Somnium Dream Viewer#which is neat in concept but i already have a little bit of beef with the way its being presented. not visuals-wise for once actually theyv#done good on that so far. but narratively. its a bit strange.

I hate it when Nico ends an episode of Ai the somnim files (both 1&2) inside a somnium. He wastes precious milliseconds doing his intro & opening tangent
I was never good at the Somniums. And they stress me the hell out. The combination of a strict timer and "dream logic" that was too obtuse for me to understand just guaranteed that I kept having to redo them over and over and over. I could make it through eventually, sure, but I wasn't having a good time with those. So I ultimately resorted to using a guide for the last few in the first game.
However, I've never been much of a viewer of Let's Plays, so I can't say I've had the secondhand anxiety of them.
