confused why some people seem to think that intense fandom “ship wars” (or whatever you want to call it) are going to “bully” writers into changing the show

these people write/produce/direct shows for a living, like i’m pretty sure the people who worked on glee and American Horror Story can handle some fans being upset with them

#like obviously some ‘fans’ are crazy #no one should be harassing writers/producers/actors/anyone else that works on the show #but i highly doubt they’re going to be ‘bullied’ into anything by a few weirdos who can’t cope with the show not going the way they want #like ryan murphy has like 6 emmy’s #tim minear has been nominated for a few i think #these are professionals i think they can handle a little bit of hate #someone threatened to doxx me when i had a tiktok go a bit viral and i handled that #i think tim minear can handle some freaks hating him for a show he wrote #buddie #911 #911 on abc #also like obviously they’re going to take fandom opinions into consideration when writing the show #that’s how you make a likeable show
