So I haven’t read the book yet but…

From my very obscured memory with the wiki sources and text pages, I will try to organize the timeline. Forgive me for the cracked explanation but this is how I remember the entire story lol.

Oooo Eru Illuvatar made some cool angels yipee, now to put some personality into them.

Wait why is one angsty.

Whatever, music time.

-Some period of time passing-

Alright now those cool angels know the art of music and creation and uhhhh, I guess Eru’s gonna make the world now.

-In the process of making the world Melkor continues being an ass-

Uhhh I forgot what happened after but Eru sends down his creations to form the rest of the world.

Oh cool lamps mind if I-

Never mind.

Okay so we have glowing trees now cool-

Bruh why is there a giant spider.

We need a light source cmon man.

-One light source project after-

Okay guys the elves are gonna awaken soon we need to guide them.

(Forget about the dwarves a certain someone made without anyone’s permission)

Oh what the fu-

Who stole half of the elves man.

What do you mean Melkor stole them.

What do you mean he’s gonna start a war wtf.

-War process yada yada-

Okay we gave him a timeout-

No Ulmo, he’s totally fine he’ll grow out of this phase stop being a hater

-Meanwhile Melkor goes on to seduce Mairon-

Er the elves are gonna awaken soon forget about the dwarves.

-Uhh something happens-

Yipee the elves are awake! Let the stars guide them to our island :3

Wait why are some leaving wtf.

No wait come back why are you leaving and making your own kingdoms.

Whatever we’ll just help the rest then.

Goddamn so many elves died.

-I forgot this part too-

Whew they’re finally on the island, what’s up guys.

Let’s teach them about crafts, music, and other stuff :3

-Time skip-

Oh shit an elven maiden died giving birth.

She doesn’t want to come back? And her husband wants to marry another girl? Uhhhh let’s consult the valar first.

Okay so, I guess we can make an exception.

But his son is not gonna be happy about it lmao.

-Ensue angsty childhood memories from Feanor-

Wow Feanor really hates his half siblings.

But that doesn’t matter because his craftsmanship is literally unmatched lol.

Oh he marries a nice girl? Surprising.

Wtf why is there 7 kids.

Oooo what is that, is that a glowing gem I see Feanor? Be careful, a certain goth head looks like he’s interested.

-Some stealing later-

Ah yes, his seven (5) sons and the quest to find the glowing gems.

-Forgive me I forgot at which point Melkor became Morgoth lmao-

Alright so his crusaders made it to Middle Earth now what-

-Bloodshed-

Damn, looks like his army didn’t survive.

-Uhhhh a series of unfortunate events leading up to the deaths of the sons one by one-

Wow Mandos is MAD mad.

-Some backround yet pivotal mortal stories-

Ah, it is I, Meadhros and the Silmaril, now how should I-

-Gem burns in his hand. He is in distress and throws himself into magma with the Silmaril or something.-

-Maglor goes to the beach casts the other Silmaril into the sea, wandering the sands until his spirit dies out-

-Some other backround stories that make up the rest of the lore-

(1/2) hi i’m new i literally made a tumblr just to say this but… do i hear Spirited Aaway (best movie of all time) au? (even if you don't know what that is i need to speak my truth so) plot wise mick is travelling with his dad to visit somewhere idk and they end up in the spirit realm and michael gets cursed to enter enchanted sleep so mick goes to the bathhouse that’s in the distance where he meets this scruffy older guy with eyes like running water who tells him to “go, run, leave before dark” but we all know that doesn't happen 🙄 and instead gets stuck in the spirit realm. the unkept hot guy mick keeps on thinking feels familiar tells him to survive and get his dad back he must go to upper management and beg for a job so he does and SURPRISE the bathhouse is a metaphor for ferrari and they take away mick’s last name like in the movie and make him forget about his past life. it turns out that weirdo blue-eyed man is the right hand to the bathhouse owner (who? WILL come up later) and he’s super powerful and can turn into a dragon and his name is ✨seb✨ but mick is like… don’t i know you from my repressed childhood..? no? anyway i don’t think that’s your name but i will not examine that. after that estiebestie the nice demon is tasked to train him in how to do bathhouse stuff (he’s the cool mentor woman in the film i don’t remember her name) and he’s the only one who’s nice to mick. mick suffers for a bit, because he’s a nepo baby who’s never done manual labor at heart. then alex the mud spirit comes through (rbr to williams resurrection metaphor) and so does no-face (fernando alonso because that image is really funny to me, not for thematic reasons). seb (haku) hates him. it’s great.

(2/2) anyway whatever whatever climax of the story seb goes to steal the “golden seal” (wdc) and gets super poisoned (again, metaphor) so mick goes down to the boiler room again to meet with seb’s oldest and only friend, a spirit who used to be super powerful but was cast aside to the basement after becoming disillusioned by the bathhouse (guess who? it’s kimi lol. he could pull off the boiler guy). grumpy boiler guy tells him to travel to the empire across the sea and gives him the train tickets. also charles is there because charles is the giant baby (ferrari chosen one iykyk) but he’s better and cooler than the baby in the film. they travel all the way to the cottage of TOTO WOLFF who is the nice witch and he tells them about his old friend/rival (lover? 😳) MAURIZIO ARRIVABENE and his cursed ferrari bathhouse who has seb in a chokehold. anyway mick gets emotionally adopted and seb is cured and shows up and the door and turns into a dragon to fly them back (it’s glorious). (a.n: george is the hopping lamppost this is so important to me). on the way mick has a revelation. am i… into men? lmao jokes. his realization is that seb was the river spirit his dad used to take him too when he was a kid in the german countryside and the spirit’s name is ✨sebastian vettel✨. it’s moving and beautiful and whatever. they get back and return charles the mouse to ferrari so they can release sebby’s contract (aston martin era), mick goes back to real life and travells back to his hometown to see the river and SURPRISE there’s a scruffy older guy with eyes like running water (😉) waiting on the shore. the end. thanks for listening <3

anon, i watched the movie just for you and this is 10/10, no notes. fernando alonso as no face really killed me!!! toto wolff being the nice witch... i think niceness is relative but if he gets my boy a seat on the grid (who needs l. sargeant if we're being honest here) i will forgive some stuff for him... maybe it's binotto who's baby charles's grandma!

what do you think about helia and sky's friendship?? i think they are such an interesting duo!! do you have any headcanons? i LOVE talking and reading about the rf squad.. those boys make me so 'UURDGWGSHQWAWAWA' ☺

AND YES OF COURSE!!! i thought i had posted about them before A Lot but all the posts are actually in the drafts OOPS

but to summarize, skylia have a really interesting to me!! i've mentioned it a few times in passing on helia and often rivelia posts but they have a really good understanding of each other that makes them very protective of each other. we see this a lot with helia just checking in on sky and making sure he's okay (something that we usually only ever see brandon and bloom do) and even more so with sky defending helia. i think something that's SO interesting about their dynamic is how sky defends helia specifically from the other characters instead of villains.

on missions, we don't see this behavior, but in their personal life, we do. and i think this really highlights how often sky feels Personally Attacked and how much he takes to heart. it doesn't happen as much after helia is Officially in the group and there's no longer friction between him and the other specialists, but this makes why it was happening a little more obvious. a lot of the initial hesitance toward helia was the others thinking he was going to be like sky,,, and like... sky may not be Consciously aware of this but i think he is on some level and that's why he would always end up defending helia. it was more of a projection on his part!

but he genuinely liked helia from the beginning and was able to see past that hesitance from the others because they were being judged for similar things (nepo baby, not working as hard, getting undermined, etc). BUT i think this is a big reason why helia is a little more forgiving of sky and a little more understanding when he's acting up. it's interesting to me because helia really isn't the kind of person that puts up with a ton of bullshit. he can understand bad moods and he can give people second chances, but if someone is consistently fucking up, he's pretty quick to end the relationship/not pay attention to them. so it was always fascinating to me to see him not only constantly give sky second chances but also seem very willing to just let sky off the hook (something he doesn't do often with the guys).

i feel like there are a lot of components to this aspect of their relationship, and the other specialists factor in A Lot with this too, but i really feel as though they have this weird sort of... I Understand Him Because I've Been Through The Same Treatment So I Feel Bad For Him But He Won't Stop Acting Up. and they're both like that aljdghljadg helia gets stressed whenever sky prioritizes his parent's wishes over his own needs and constantly checks in to make sure sky is okay. sky gets stressed whenever helia ditches people or feels hurt by their friends. and because they're able to understand each other's emotions that they're not showing to other people, it ends up making them somewhat protective and Very Very forgiving of each other. like when i say that sky lets helia do whatever the fuck he wants i mean it!!
