"This seat taken?" Tilly looked down at the handsome brunette, anticipation lacing her words.
"Of course not darling, have a seat. I am Freddie. Freddie Bulsara." The man said, holding out a hand for Tilly to shake.
"I'm Matilda. But I prefer Tilly. Tilly Sommers." The two smiled at each other and began to speak.
"So, what do you do for fun?" Tilly asked, drumming her fingers against the table. Freddie looked at her for a second then looked down again.
"I like to sing. I've been in a few bands but none of them really worked out." Tilly nodded.
"I don't mean to be offensive, and I hope this doesn't offend you, but how come your teeth are like that? I didn't notice at first, but they intrigue me." Tilly chuckled in embarrassment and Freddie looked at her with a slight smile.
"I was born with four supernumerary incisors, it gives me four octave range when I sing." He answered with pride.
"That is so cool! They suit you very well, Freddie." Tilly loved his name, it was unique and rare. "How did you get a name like that?" She asked, wanting to know more about this amazing mans life.
"Well," Freddie hesitated, "I changed it not too long ago. My real name is Farrokh."
"I wish I was confident enough to change something about myself." Tilly sighed.
"What's one thing you would want to change?"
"My hair."
"Why, its so beautiful!"
"There's too many brunettes. I want to be the only deep red or purple haired girl here.
"So colour it." Freddie replied, a smirk lifting the corners of his mouth.
"It would take far too long to get an appointment."
"I'll do it, darling," Tilly looked at Freddie, a confused look spread across her face.
-
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Tilly stuttered. Freddie continued to wrap the foils around the womans hair, brushing the remaining strands with dye. They were almost done, but Tilly was still unsure. How would her parents react? Why did she care?
The two sat there talking for the next few hours, waiting for the finished product. As Freddie unwrapped the foils, Tilly felt a wave of calm wash over her. Mainly because Freddie was massaging her head so carefully. He blow-dried her hair, then lead her over to a mirror.
"I-its... Freddie its beautiful." The girl smiled as Freddie brushed out his own hair in the mirror, a proud smile growing on his face. "You know, you would look alright with a fringe with your long hair." Tilly grinned, biting her lip.
"Alrighty Fred, your bedroom is through here, as usual." Tilly smiled warmly, leading the boys through her cabin. Brian stuck to her side, quietly attempting to steal a glance at her every so often. "John you're through here. Roger you're in this one too."
"What? Why do I have to have a roommate?" Roger groaned.
"I'm pretty sure you're the one who requested a roommate?" Tilly said, looking down at her notebook.
"It was a joke, and I meant you." Roger laughed, rolling his eyes and earning a hit in the arm from Tilly. Brian just stared uncomfortably. Freddie sensed what was going on, but said not one word. He knew exactly what would happen, but he wanted them to realise it for themselves.
"Anyway, Brian you are down here, next to me." Tilly smiled warmly, opening the door to the bedroom.
"Thank you very much." Brian smiled back. The two looked at each other for a little longer than normal, soon getting interrupted by John.
"So," he coughed, "where's the sitting room?" Tilly pulled her gaze from Brian and lead the boys downstairs towards the basement.
"Wow. This is awesome. Why didn't you bring us here earlier, Fred?" Roger exclaimed, wrapping an arm around Tilly's shoulders. Tilly rolled her eyes and stood under his grasp. Tilly knew Roger was joking around, everyone did. Except Brian.
"Because I wanted her for myself." He grinned, pulling her away from Roger. "Mary is going to come up later." He whispered softly into Tilly's ear, causing her to smile largely.
"Well, I am going to go for a hike!" Tilly exclaimed, clapping her hands. "Anyone interested?" The men looked at each other.
"I have to help Mary come out here." Freddie smirked happily.
"I mean I gu-" John began before being slightly nudged by Roger, "I guess not. I'm tired."
"I'm alright darling." Roger winked.
"I'm not busy." Brian shuffled, looking down to his feet.
"Great! Meet back down in a half hour? And wear appropriate clothing." Tilly smiled, racing off to her room. The boys looked to Brian and followed him into his room.
"What are you going to wear?"
"You gonna kiss her?"
"If you pass a nice tree can you bring me back a leaf?"
"What?" Freddie, Roger and Brian said unison at Johns odd request.
"You guys we're talking and I wanted to join in." John responded quietly, causing the others to smile.
-
Brian met Tilly upstairs, a little earlier than what she said so that she didn't leave without him. A small smile found its way to the corner of his soft, pink lips as she entered the room. She was wearing a tied up flannel shirt, short shorts that fit her body oh so well, and boots that just tied the entire look together. Brian was proud that he was wearing appropriate clothing, it would make Tilly think higher of him. He knew he couldn't let the appearance of the girl falter his calm manner. He was going to get to know her before he fell in love.
"Well, don't you look snazzy?" Tilly smirked, crossing her arms.
"Could say the same about you." Brian replied, quickly regretting it with shit shit shit running through his mind. But Tilly just laughed.
"Why thank you! I packed a picnic because we will probably be out for a while."
"Sounds great, love." Tilly blushed slightly. She loved the way Brian would call her love.
"Alrighty, lets go then." The two walked out of the house, hardly noticing the three boys staring behind them.
"I slipped a condom in his back pocket while he was showering." Roger smirked.
"I think they'd be very nice together," John smiled matter of factly, "but I really do want that leaf. I saw something bout using it to make a bookmark."
"Can we please just go back to how this dickhead put a condom in his back pocket? They're going on a hike you idiot!"
"So, truth or dare, Brian?"
Brian scratched the back of his head in thought, "Truth I guess."
"How long was your longest relationship."
Brian stopped for a minute, grabbing his water bottle and taking a sip. He had to seriously think about this. Did he want to sound cool, or did he want to sound sweet? "I've only had a few serious relationships. But my longest was a year and a bit maybe. I was younger."
"How come you haven't had longer relationships," Tilly asked, a playful smirk draped across her face, "is it the hectic rock star life?" Brian chuckled, running a hand through his long, curly hair.
"No. Probably just the fact I had been so busy with my studies."
"Oh yeah. I heard you were studying astrophysics," Tilly answered, tying up her shoelaces and glancing towards the red-faced man. Brian just nodded, and the two continued on their way. As they walked, a large lake came into view. "Shall we stop for some sandwiches?" Tilly asked, placing the picnic basket down on a rock. Brian helped to set out the blanket, allowing Tilly to have more room.
"So," Brian said, finishing off his sandwich, "truth or dare?" Tilly didn't have to think. She always chose dare.
"Dare," she smiled, taking a sip of her lemonade and leaning back.
"I dare you to jump in the lake."
Tilly looked to Brian with her eyes wide in amazement. She never thought he would think of something like that.
"Fully clothed?" Tilly smirked, nudging Brian's arm flirtatiously.
"Uh- um," Brian stuttered, anxious from her question, "your choice."
"Truth or dare?"
"Wait its-"
"Truth or dare, Brian." Brian just rolled his eyes.
"Dare."
"I dare you to skinny dip in that lake with me," Tilly teased, already unbuttoning her flannel shirt.
"Hey, that is not fair! It was your turn," Brian protested, earning a playful glare from Tilly.
"You said dare!" Tilly retorted, leaning over to brush Brian's hair out of his face. "Now get undressed," Brian sighed, attempting not to watch as Tilly took off her flannel. Her lace bra that was once hidden, now fully exposed.
"I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable, Tilly," Brian assured, beginning to unbutton his shirt too.
"Brian, we are miles out from anyone else. Nobody even knows we're here. Besides, it's nothing you've never seen before," Brian laughed, running his fingers through his hair.
"Right back at you," he said, causing Tilly to flush red with embarrassment. She was a virgin.
"Truth or dare Tilly?" Brian asked. Tilly thought for a minute. She actually wanted to get to know Brian.
"Truth."
"How long was your longest relationship?" Brian looked proud for using her question against her, smirking to himself. Harley stepped into the lake after successfully taking her jean shorts off.
"A few months. I've never actually, you know. Fallen in love. Just a few high school relationships that never made it," Tilly leaned underwater, undoing her bra strap, throwing it over to the rest of her clothes. Brian couldn't help but shiver as he walked into the lake. And not just because it was cold. After watching Tilly throw her panties over to her clothes once again, Brian proceeded to take his boxers off and throw them to the edge of the water. "You good, May?" Tilly asked, swimming over.
"Uh, yeah-yes I am fine," Brian choked out, trying to stay away from the nude girl.
"Truth or dare?" Tilly grinned, realising Brian was slightly backing off.
"Truth."
"Best childhood memory."
Brian looked down, sighing as memories flashed through his brain. "I was a young kid, and my dad and I built a guitar out of wood. I still have it to this day. Its called the red special."
"Sounds important," Tilly giggled slightly.
"Truth or dare?" Brian asked.
"Dare."
"I dare you to flip into the lake," Tilly smiled. She loved a good challenge. As she went to rise up out of the water, the two were soon interrupted by screaming.
"What the hell?" Tilly yelled, frantic for an explanation. But Brian knew.
"Are you fucking kidding me? Get out of that tree now!" Tilly turned to see three men walk out from behind a large tree, their heads hanging low.
"Freddie?" Tilly asked, her mouth dropping open. Freddie could only respond with a slight wave.
"I told them to stop," John whispered, grabbing the lemonade.
"I know you did," Tilly and Brian said unison, causing Freddie and Roger to huff.
"Look, we were just checking if he was putting that condom I put in his back pocket to good use!" Roger yelled, trying to explain himself, regretting it quickly.
"What!?" Tilly and Brian said, once again in unison.
