the venerable i work with sent me photos of nonna's candle that she lit for her with the message "blessing for a safe passage" <3
#made me tear up#people sharing their faith-based practices always means a lot to me bc that's like what you believe at your core you know#that's what you believe existence is based on so it is the greatest thing in your power to appeal to#when ppl share that that's very powerful to me#like i love watching people of all faiths pray#i think the candle eventually goes to the wall of the shrine with all the other candles#so there will be a little piece of nonna there <3333#tp
