Definitely want to hear more HC!
Here's some random notes I had about Spider & co. in my Days Into Decades fic :)
Spider eats the weirdest combinations of food. He had to make a lot of his own food and never had anyone tell him he couldn't put ketchup on his pizza, so he tried all sorts of gross shit. Jelly on ice cream? Surprisingly delicious. Cheeze whiz smooshed between two crackers? Yum. His friends have valiantly tried to stop the madness, but he just tries to force-feed them his concoctions as a result. All of the adults are reasonably disgusted by this, but I feel like Quaritch and Jake would both try to one-up the other by trying the grossest things Spider can come up with, after hearing that the other tried it. ("Sully ate whipped cream on a slice of tomato? Fuck it, give me one.") Spider one-hundo percent uses this to his advantage.
Spider and Lo'ak get stoned every once in a while. The latter doesn't really smoke often because he's in sports and his girlfriend doesn't really like the smell, but his and Spider's drug dealer is Kiri. Kiri is all about communing with nature and sees no problem with relaxing with Eywa's creations. She's not really a drug dealer, but she supplies the boys with stuff in exchange for random tasks (Spider once had to be a model for her art club).
Neteyam does not smoke. He tried once, got way too paranoid and ended up sitting in his closest for four hours. He does however, like to record the others when their high, because it's extremely entertaining. Kiri says the most out of pocket shit, like existential questions, then tries to count all of the pieces of wood in the floor. Lo'ak usually just sinks into a bean bag with a bag of chips and relaxes. Spider either gets really zoned in on stuff and doesn't talk for hours or will not shut up.
The Sully's have entire albums dedicated to each child, but also have albums from each year, sometimes more than one depending on how interesting things get. Because of the sheer number of photographs they have, there are also a lot of pictures of Spider scattered throughout. Somewhere in the chaos, Jake has a picture of Neteyam and Spider grinning, both missing a tooth after a badly timed hug when they were four.
Jake and Neytiri have a lot of kids. Sometimes, especially as kids, Spider just got tossed in the mix and they didn't even notice. When they were really young, Kiri, Lo'ak, and Neteyam slept in a pile on their parent's bed everyday for naptime. More often than not, Spider would end up in the tangle of limbs, snoring away. Even as they got older and had sleepovers, they'd end up on top of each other in their sleep. Spider always slept best on those nights, even when they would camp out on the living room floor and stay up as long as they could.
Spider thinks he's the most intimidating person ever. Like, all of his friends are taller and stronger than him. He looks young for his age, often mistaken for a freshman at school. But, he dresses in baggy clothes and ripped jeans, even has a wallet chain. He skateboards and draws on his beat-to-shit converse in sharpie. He frowns at people and sometimes even colors his nails in black marker. Because, he's a degenerate, okay? But, in reality, most people just think he looks like a kid playing dress-up. Like, old ladies see him at the grocery store and go oh, what a nice young man, doing the shopping for his parents. He thinks they're talking about how scary he looks, but really they think he's thirteen and such a cutie-pie. He is not observant, guys.
He constantly misplaced his inhaler as a kid. As a result, the Sully's (specifically doomsday prepper Jake and his apprentice, Neteyam) have inhalers all over. Neteyam keeps one in the glove compartment and another in his backpack. Jake has like, four of them scattered around the house just in case and asks Spider if he has his nearly every day when he drops him off at school. When Quaritch eventually gets custody, he'd totally buy like ten of them. One in the car, one in the kitchen, the bathroom, his bedroom, Spider's desk drawer. And he totally makes Spider physically show him the inhaler every time he goes to leave the house. Everyone is paranoid as shit about it and Spider takes this as nobody trusting him to be able to remember something so simple (even though my boy is forgetful af)
Spider has (undiagnosed) ADHD. Like, he cannot focus in school most of the time, even when he likes the class. He usually copies notes from someone and tries to go over it all again after school. He forgets stuff all the time, constantly losing his phone (it's usually in his jacket pocket and he just forgot to take it out when he got home). He likes being outside a lot, so he can burn off some of the energy when everything becomes too much.
This is all I have atm, but a lot of it won't be in the fic, so I thought I'd put it on here.

Good night, Mr Cavill
Part 8 - Hundo-P or A snack at the beach
06/25/2021
Pairing: teacher!Henry Cavill x plus-size teacher!reader (3rd person)
Word Count: 2,101
Warnings: rpf, language, totally overdoing it with the youth slang here, a little heartache
Summary: The third day starts with a contest at the beach and Mr Cavill is sending some very confusing signals.
A/N: We've reached sort of an anticlimax of our school trip adventure. Endure the little heartache, the next chapter will be worth it.

Thoroughly she applied the sunscreen to her skin, trying not to miss an inch because she knew what would await her in the evening if she did. It had taken her a while to find the courage to dispose of her loose beach dress, but in the end she had convinced herself that she needed to be a role model for her students because how could she tell them that their bodies were beautiful as they were when she didn’t even find it in herself to wear nothing but a bathing suit at the beach.
And so she went about her work to cover all the parts of her body she could reach with the milky white lotion, while Henry divided the group into teams of four who would compete in a beach contest. The winners were granted to keep their mobiles during the last night of the trip and it seemed to spur them on more than she had anticipated.
“Hey!” His familiar voice startled her and she was quick to turn around.
“Hi,” she gave back a little awkwardly. “Everything set up?”
“Yes, they are doing a little warm up on their own now and then we are good to go.”
He kept his distance and she appreciated that.
“Excellent. Can I help you with anything?”
“Um, yes, actually you could.” Oh dear, she knew that expression in his eyes. And when he pulled his shirt from his shoulders and tossed it into the sand next to her beach bag, it was clear what he wanted. “Could you maybe help me out with the sunscreen? Just the shoulders and back,” he asked sweetly, a cute little smile on his lips and that damn twinkle in his eyes that always made her knees go slightly weak.
“Absolutely not,” she stated with a firm voice, clutching the plastic bottle closer to her chest.
“Okay, understood,” he shrugged, “just know that in that case you leave me no choice.” He made to leave when she held him back.
“Henry?” she asked sharply and for a second the horrible thought crossed her mind that she sounded like her mother. “Where are you going?”
He frowned innocently as if he didn’t understand her question. “To ask one of the girls to help me, of course. I figure they might be a bit more cooperative and lend a teacher in need a helping hand.”
He surely would like that, wouldn’t he?
“Alright, come here then,” she waved him back towards her, “Can’t risk giving them a reason for a sexual assault charge. At least not on my watch.”
And if she hadn’t started to squeeze some lotion into her hands right away, she might have seen the relieved smile on his face while he made his way back over to her.
“Here, hold this. And then turn around, please.”
She pressed the bottle into his hand before she brought her palms to his wide shoulders and got to work. Of course she would never admit it, but his warm skin felt heavenly underneath her fingertips. It was silky smooth, and he was softer than she had expected because of all his muscles. She had intended not to go easy on him and get this over with as fast as possible, but the longer she massaged the sunscreen into his skin the more she had to admit that she liked it, a lot.
“Wow, you’re really good at this,” he practically moaned while her fingertips drifted along his spine.
“Yeah, and unfortunately I’m done already.”
“Oh, great,” he said, not meaning it in the least. “How about you?”
“Huh?”
“Do you need some help with your back and shoulders as well?”
“Oh,” she grinned awkwardly. “No, thanks. I’m good. I’m really flexible, you know?”
And it was only his amused chuckle that made her realise what she had just said.
“Can you hand over the bottle, please? I want to finish and then get over to cheer the students on.”
He held it out to her without hesitation, but when her hand wrapped around the yellow plastic, he didn’t let go and instead brought his other hand on top of hers to keep her close.
“Listen, I…I wanted to apologise for yesterday. I shouldn’t have caught you by surprise like that. I actually meant to talk to you after collecting the phones, but you were already asleep and I didn’t want to wake you.”
She felt a little bad for him because she hadn’t actually been asleep, she had just pretended to be, too afraid that she might have wanted to finish what he had started at the beach.
“It’s alright. Let’s just forget about it, shall we?”
But instead of the relief she had hoped her answer would bring to his eyes, they only clouded over further. “You know the thing is, I don’t want to—”
“Mr Cavill, we’re all warmed up now. Can we finally get started?” one of the boys shouted over, interrupting whatever it was Henry had wanted to say. She also heard a noise that sounded like a slap, followed by a groan and then the boy shouted again, “Never mind. Take your time, sir.”
But it was too late, the magic of the moment broken and she could feel that he was about to let go of her hand and walk over to the children. But this time it was her who held him back.
“What do you not want to?”
He huffed, “I just don’t want this to stand between us, you know, professionally.”
“Oh,” she had been sure that he had actually wanted to say something completely different, but even if he had, something had convinced him that keeping it to himself was the better choice in the end. “Don’t worry. As far as I’m concerned, it never happened.”
His lips pressed together in a forced smile before he pulled away, leaving her still wondering how he might have finished that sentence if he hadn’t been interrupted so harshly.
Tumblr media
“Come on, Stivana, you can do it,” she cheered the scowling girl on.
“Wallah, Miss Y/L/N, disc golf sucks. I have no idea what I’m doing.”
“Don’t worry, you don’t have to. You just need to be better than Luis. So keep your eyes on the prize and give your best.”
Stivana didn’t look convinced at all when she finally took her place. Squinting against the sun, she tried to measure the distance one last time before she threw the disc energetically, a little too much so as it passed the target and fell into the sand with a thud a good few feet behind it.
“Fucking shit!” the girl spat as she fell to her knees and slammed her fists down on the sand.
“I’m just going to pretend I didn’t hear that. Now go get the disc and then you can join the others for a break in the shade or a swim.”
She had just finished the sentence as she heard a shrill whistle that officially announced the break coming from the water’s edge where Henry supervised the tug of war.
“Alright, guys, twenty minute break,” his booming voice echoed across the beach and he didn’t need to tell them twice. Immediately everyone left their stations and either hurried to find a cool spot in the shade or to get down to the water.
She decided to do the latter as well, joining a bunch of girls and boys, and when she looked at the glistening water that was still a good distance away, she couldn’t believe her eyes as they caught sight of the spectacle that was coming their way. She felt as if she had been teleported into an episode of Baywatch as she watched the ridiculously enchanting bear of a man sprint up the beach, looking even better than David Hasselhoff in his best years. His massive pecs bounced up and down with every step he took towards her, transfixing her view and occupying her every thought. It had been almost unbearably hot all day, but it was nothing compared to the heat that spread throughout her entire body right now, making her feel as if her sinful thoughts had sent her straight into purgatory.
He was almost level with her when he slowed his steps. “Enjoy your swim,” he smiled, wild and saucy, and she almost tripped over her own feet when he topped it off with a cheeky wink before he sped up his steps again. She was sure that this image would haunt her for the rest of her life.
“Mr Cavill totally has the hots for you, Miss Y/L/N,” Vivianne’s squeaky voice came from her right.
“Nonsense.”
“Hundo-P, no cap. Everybody knows he’s simping for you so hard.”
And her best friend Amelie was quick to jump onto the same train. “He asked us a ton of questions about you in the last days, and he was eager as fuck to find out whether you have a BF.”
“Yeah, and he always looks at you in this way.”
“What way?” she inquired and Vivianne didn’t hesitate a second to form the biggest pair of doe eyes she had ever seen and bat her lashes frantically.
“That’s totally it,” Amelie confirmed. “His eyes go all soft and his pupils form tiny little hearts when he looks at you.”
She chuckled. “I think you’ve watched too many cartoons, girls. He looks nothing like this when he looks at me.”
“Does too!”
“Can you pleeeeease get together? We’re all shipping you so hard already.”
She rolled her eyes at their silly babbling, “Ladies, please.”
“Honestly, Miss Y/L/N, I don’t know how you can sleep in the same room as him without…you know.” The girls stopped as their feet hit the surf and ogled Henry across their shoulders. “He’s such a snack.”
“This conversation is so over.” And with that she briskly walked into the waves until the water reached up to her hips, diving into the cool ocean to escape their thirst talk.
It was one thing that it would have been totally unprofessional to get engaged in a conversation like that, but what was even more unsettling was how much their little remarks were getting to her. They were dangerous, making her almost believe that Henry’s flirting might not be solely intended to tease her. But it was, she was sure of that. Totally unserious and absolutely meaningless, just like his kiss yesterday. After everything she had told him about her talk with Mosley, he had most likely taken pity on her and his kiss had been nothing but an attempt to cheer her up. And it had been more than apparent that he had already started to regret it. Why else would he be so eager to forget that it had ever happened in the first place?
She gasped as her head broke through the surface and she was pleased when she noticed that she had brought a good distance between the students and herself. Somewhere behind them, she could make out the rest of the group, and Henry, who was standing amongst them, laughing and goofing around, and she felt the black claws of yearning clutch her heart and give it a tight squeeze.
He had no idea what he had done to her with his nonchalant flirting—no, what she had let herself so foolishly believe whenever he looked at her as if she was the only one that deserved his attention, when he put his cheeky facade aside for a moment and became all gentle and caring, looking out for her and respecting her boundaries.
The truth was, she didn’t want to forget about the kiss at all and for a brief second she had hoped he didn’t want to forget about it either. But he had made it clear that he did and she needed to accept that. How hard could it be, right? After all, it was just one more night and then she would finally be able to leave this strange dream she found herself trapped in behind. A game of push and pull, her heart on the line, and which she had already lost before she even knew she was playing.
Reluctantly she pulled her eyes away from a future that would never be, letting herself sink down underneath the surface once more and as the salty drop that ran from her eye faded into the eternity of the ocean, she buried her hopes and dreams with it at the ground of the sea.

Shadows of Hyrule | Chapter 1
“Link.”
Link opened his eyes and looked around quickly. He had zoned out... again. He turned his attention to the board and knit his brows together. What the hell were they talking about?
Ms. Muller turned her attention to him. “Link?”
Link stared blankly at the board. She was waiting for an answer. “Seven?”
The class snickered. He turned his helpless gaze to Mipha and she rolled her eyes.
“Try to pay attention, Link,” Ms. Muller said in an exhausted tone. “This will be on the test at the end of the week.”
Link sighed lightly and let his chin rest in the palm of his hand. He stared at the board as the marker squeaked across it, but he could not focus on the equations.
“Link.”
Link straightened and looked around quickly, but all eyes were either focused on the board in front of the classroom, or glued to notebooks as their pens scribbled furiously to take notes. He turned once more to Mipha, but she, too, was being a model student. Her red bangs fell across her eyes as she took detailed notes, seemingly unaware of anyone calling his name.
“Link.”
“Shut up,” he hissed towards Mipha.
Mipha glanced at him quickly, her expression puzzled. “What?”
“Stop fucking with me.”
Mipha’s brows raised. “I’m not doing anything.”
Link slunk back against his seat. He peered around the room once more until his gaze fell upon Zelda’s from across the room. Her brows were knit furiously at him, as if he were the source of the disturbance. He ignored her, looking around one more time, but as the voice came again, it was clear to him that it wasn’t anyone in the room. Even more so, no one else seemed to have noticed. He returned his gaze to Zelda and she stuck her nose up at him and turned her attention back to her notes.
“Link.”
Link stood and Ms. Muller turned back towards him.
“Is there a problem?” she asked. She peered at him over her glasses.
“I…” Link started. “Bathroom,” he muttered, then made his way quickly out the door and into the empty hallway.
“Link.”
“What the fuck,” he muttered under his breath. He looked down the hall to his left, then to his right, but there was no one in sight. He made his way right and wandered the halls of the school until he arrived before his locker. He didn’t hear the voice again. He turned the dial to his locker until it clicked open and he stared inside. Except for his jacket, bag, and an old text book on the shelf that he had never opened, it was empty.
The phone in his pocket vibrated and he checked the message from Mipha. R u ok?
Link sighed and returned the phone. He swung the locker door closed and made his way back down the hall to his classroom. But as he turned the corner, the bell rang, and Zelda was first out the door. She caught Link’s gaze and her brows knit together angrily once more.
“What’s your problem?” she hissed at him.
“My problem?” Link said. “I didn’t do anything.”
“I don’t think you and your friends are funny,” she snapped at him.
“I didn’t do anything,” he repeated defensively.
Mipha emerged from the doorway next and the hall began to crowd quickly. She made her way to Link’s side and peered up at him in concern. “What’s wrong?”
“Someone kept saying my name,” Link muttered.
Mipha raised a brow. “I didn’t hear anything.”
“If this is some stupid joke,” Zelda said, “I don’t think it’s funny. Some of us want to pass this class.”
“You heard it,” Link said, more of a realization than a question.
“You heard it?” Mipha asked Zelda. Her eyes moved between Zelda and Link, puzzled by their interaction.
“I’m not an idiot,” she barked at him. “Stop pretending you don’t know what I’m talking about.”
“You didn’t hear that?” Link asked, turning back to Mipha.
“Stop playing dumb,” Zelda said before turning her back to them dramatically, causing her long, blond hair to swoop around behind her. She pushed her way through the crowd and disappeared down the hallway.
Mipha watched her curiously before turning back to Link, still puzzled. “What is she so upset about?”
“I don’t know,” Link said slowly as he stared after Zelda.
“Are you feeling okay?” Mipha asked.
Link turned his gaze back to her. “Yeah,” he said. “Just tired.”
Mipha smiled. “You should really stop falling asleep in class.”
Link returned her smile and shrugged with one shoulder. “Maybe. Must have been a dream or something.”
“Lunch?” Mipha followed him as he made his way back to his locker.
Link spun the dial quickly and lifted up on the handle, opening the door. He pulled out his bag and swung it over his shoulder before pushing the locker door closed once more. “I could eat,” he said.
Mipha moved to her own locker a few doors down and put her books and notebooks onto the top shelf, exchanging them for her own bag. She blew her bangs out of her eyes and closed the locker door, then returned to Link's side with a smile.
“What are you doing after school?” Link asked her. They walked side by side through the loud, crowded hallways towards the senior courtyard at the other end of the building.
“You can't copy my notes,” Mipha said dryly. “I need them to study.”
Link groaned loudly. “Come on,” he practically whined. “I'm gonna fail this class.”
“Maybe you should put more effort in to it,” she said, narrowing her eyes at him.
“Maybe you should be a good friend and let me copy off your test.”
“Seriously?”
Link grinned at her.
“You're hopeless.”
Link nodded. “That's why I have you.”
“I don't support this carefree life style.” She sighed. “What's your plan, anyway? Everyone else has started looking into colleges except you.”
“I don't need a mother, thank you,” Link muttered. “We're only juniors, what does it matter?”
“We had an entire assembly about this, Link,” Mipha reminded him. “Did you sleep through that, too?”
Link looked up thoughtfully, then shrugged. “Probably.”
“Have you even met with your guidance counselor?”
“What's that?”
“What exactly do you think is going to happen after graduation?”
“I don't make it a habit of thinking that far ahead. Hell, I haven't even planned tomorrow's naps yet.” He grinned at her.
“You can't be serious about anything,” Mipha said, shaking her head.
“Life's too short.”
“For you, I'm sure it will be. You're gonna flip burgers, eat fried foods, and die before you hit thirty.”
“Sounds like a good plan.”
Mipha rolled her eyes and pushed open the double doors that opened into the senior courtyard. Across the way, lounging on one of the tables, was a small group of four seniors. The tall, gorgeous, dark skinned Urbosa sat on the edge of the bench with her legs crossed at the ankles, her skirt showing off her long legs. The incredibly buff Daruk wore his dark hair spiked as he typically did, his skin a few shades lighter compared to Urbosa. He stood before her with his arms crossed. And sitting on the table, their legs on the bench seat, were best friends Revali and Teba. Their lighter skin contrasted greatly against Urbosa and Daruk. Sunglasses shielded Revali's eyes, but Link could tell he was glaring at him the moment Mipha opened the doors. Teba, on the other hand, paid no mind to them, though Daruk and Urbosa turned to greet them, gesturing for them to approach.
“You know this is the senior courtyard,” Revali said with a slight snarl. “In other words, no juniors, no matter how special you think you are.”
Link ignored him and met Daruk's waiting fist bump. Revali and Teba parted slightly, allowing for Mipha to sit on the bench beside Urbosa, despite Revali's earlier comment.
“Give it a rest,” Urbosa said with a roll of her eyes. “Link and Mipha can hang out here whenever they want.”
Link grinned, then stuck his tongue out at Revali.
“That's so mature,” Revali muttered. He peered at Link over his sunglasses.
“Be nice to him,” Mipha said as she bit into her sandwich. “His usual fourth period nap was cut short today. He's a little cranky.”
“I'm not cranky,” Link said, folding his arms over his chest.
“He and Zelda had it out in the hallway.”
“Zelda?” Daruk repeated, turning to Link. “Since when do you talk to her?”
Link pulled his own sandwich out and took a bite. “I don't,” he said as he chewed.
“She was yelling at him for something,” Mipha explained.
“What did you do?” Urbosa asked Link, narrowing her eyes on him.
Link swallowed his bite. “Nothing!”
“Oh, I'm sure he did something,” Revali said. “This is Link we're talking about. He has such a way with the ladies, after all.”
Mipha giggled.
“I think I'd know if I did something wrong,” Link muttered.
“Men never do,” Urbosa said.
“Whatever,” Link said. “She's crazy.” Maybe just as crazy as he was, considering they were the only two that seemed to have heard the voice. He turned back to his sandwich, and to his relief, the conversation switched to a new topic.
“Have you heard from any schools yet?” Mipha asked, turning to Urbosa.
“A couple of my bottom choices,” Urbosa replied. “But it's still early.”
“I'm sure you won't get a single rejection,” Mipha said with a smile. “They'll all be fighting over you.”
“I don't know about that,” Urbosa said.
“You're one of the highest ranked students in the school,” Daruk pointed out. “Of course they're going to fight over you.”
Urbosa rolled her eyes. “Yeah, but look at my competition.” She threw a thumb over her shoulder towards Revali. “I bet even Link ranks higher than that.”
Revali scoffed. “Grades don't matter anymore,” he said. “It's all about who you know. And I know people.”
“Right,” Urbosa said. “We'll see how that plays out for you.”
“I've already gotten one acceptance letter,” he said as he pushed himself off the table. “Early submissions pay off.”
“So, who's dick did you have to blow for that?” Teba said.
“My father -”
“Woah!” Daruk yelled, his arms in the air.
Revali glared at him, then continued. “My father's friends with the Dean.”
“The Dean's gonna regret that decision real quick,” Urbosa said to Mipha.
“While you're off doing boring lawyer stuff,” Revali said, “I'll be playing the stock game with a babe on each arm. They'll wear coats made of hundos and we'll sail off into the sunset on my massive yacht.”
“I'd say he's overcompensating,” Mipha said. Urbosa nodded.
“Come on, Teba,” Revali said. “Let's smoke this joint.”
Teba sighed. “You have such a Napoleon complex.”
“A what?”
Teba smiled and followed Revali. “It's okay, man. Ladies don't want men with brains.”
“Why are we friends with him,” Mipha said.
“Well, I liked Teba,” Daruk said.
“Why is Teba friends with him?”
“Teba and Revali go way back,” Urbosa said. “I think Teba is just stuck with being friends with him at this point.”
“They're in love,” Link said.
Daruk snorted. “Probably the only action Revali will get.”
“He's supposedly dating this girl at another school,” Mipha said.
“How do you know?” Urbosa asked.
Mipha raised a brow. “He told us yesterday.”
“Oh.” Urbosa turned her gaze up in thought. “I don't usually listen to him.”
“Someone should warn her that Revali's got a side guy,” Link said.
“Someone should tell Saki, too,” Daruk said.
“Teba and Saki are so cute together,” Mipha said. “For someone who's friends with Revali, he's a good guy.”
“Guess someone should break the news to Revali, then,” Urbosa said. “Teba will never leave Saki for him.”
“They're totally gonna get married,” Mipha said dreamily.
“Revali and Teba?” Link asked with a grin. Mipha threw her waded up trash at him and it hit him square in the chest, then fell to the ground.
“Revali has a girl friend before me,” Daruk muttered. “What has this world come to?”
“You're a catch, Daruk,” Mipha said. “You'll find the perfect girl before you know it.”
“Thank you, Mipha,” Daruk said sincerely. “I hope she's half as sweet as you.”
Link scoffed.
“And as long as you don't land a guy like Revali or Link,” Urbosa said to her, “you'll be all set.”
Mipha blushed and turned away, busying herself with her bag.
“Hey, I can be a catch, too,” Link said.
“Yeah, real catch,” Daruk said. “Ladies love scrawny high school drop outs.”
“There's more to me than that,” Link said.
Urbosa stood and put her hand on Link's shoulder. “Of course there is, Sweetie. But ladies want more than a big dick.” She winked at him and walked back towards the school.
“I'll take that as a compliment,” Link said proudly. “She wants me. I could get her.”
“You're a pig,” Mipha muttered.
“Good luck with that,” Daruk said. “She gives zero shits about men right now. And she's way out of your league.”
Link shrugged. Mipha pushed passed him with her bag in hand and waved over her shoulder. “See ya later,” she called to them.
“Wait a sec,” Link said. “She owes me notes.”
“Link,” Daruk started. “You can't expect Mipha to be your brains for the rest of your life. I love you, man, but get your shit together. You're better than that.”
“Thanks for the pep talk,” Link muttered.
“And I can't keep beating up bullies for you.”
“That was one time.”
Daruk made a muscle with his arm. “Get on my level, bro.”
From inside the school, the bell rang, signaling the end of their lunch period. Link sighed and threw his bag over his shoulder. “See ya later.”

see, why Gaiden specifically. was gaiden the start of one of the series? is it standalone? i dont know anything about gaiden like at all. ok, thats a lie, i do recognize the names Duma and Mila from that one time i hella dag through the wiki.
is sasuke actually narrating the whole direct because im suffering. yuri lowenthals voice is distinctive. itd be like if bryce papenbrook appeared outta nowhere and started narrating something, id know.
... buddy, its a soft t, not a hard t, the other narrator already said that. we thinking this a language gap? valen-shia, not valen-T-a. or something. that sounds weird. i dont like it with a pronounced t, i prefer smoothed.
also those cutscenes by that other studio? they look so good. are they the same people who did the cutscenes in the other games? if so, theyve improved drastically? i mean, im not animator, but it looks less like ‘heres our in game models but bigger and smoother, here they go’ and more ‘we might have used models as a base but we can do foreshortening and stuff that models cant’. idk. the lil bit of cutscene just looks way more... animated-y than the ones in fates. gets me hype. i love it.
god i hope this is good. it looks so good. i wasnt even gonna watch the direct until i saw ‘fire emblem gaiden for 3ds’ and now im in. i want it. gimme gimme. it looks so good. ill wait until after release though. not because im broke but because i like reserving judgement, lmao.
i want that Celica amiibo. holy shit. look at her?? shes gorgeous. that amiibo looks stunning.
also why specifically yuri lowenthal. like.... what. he did a corrin voice, ricken, marth and kiragi. three of those are technically optonal voices (because i know i never ended up getting kiragi, and i dont play male corrin, and marth is amiibo exclusive) so like. what. you just had him lying around and went ‘hey dude can you do this?’ and there he goes.
oh DAMMIT theyre taking the series to the switch in future. fuck. im boned. im confined to three games, one of which i cant actually bring myself to play again because that three route shit was exhausting. darn. D: i mean, if i could find copies of the ds fire emblems (er... one of the marth ones, right? p sure theres a marth ds fire emblem) i might be cool but god knows its a bit late for that. aw.
fe:w is n3ds exclusive? oh. what a shame. i was so... looking forward... nah. nah dude. i mean, cool, it is coming to n3ds at all, thats neat! but. eh..... ehhhhhhhhhhh.
oh who is that beautiful but weird lookingboy??? whats with the hair, bro. it looks cool, but, what. golden tips? oh SHE is cute, i like her armour, actually god yea she’s real cute, i like her. hes a bad guy but he has nice style and i appreciate it. is that Robin with a fucking gun? is that a gun??? thats a gun. its a portal gun? its a portal gun! its a fucking gun that shoots portals to other worlds. what the fuck am i looking at. also, yea, its probably not actually robin, but i mean, come on, i feel like this look is deliberately supposed to echo that hood shit.
oh who is sheeee. who is she too??? she looks neat! and she has red eyes, ya shes hundo evil.
the what kingdom. the. em.. emblin??? is this. its a pun on emblem, isnt it. oh dearie me. and the... asprin??? did i hear asprin? ok, emblian, alright, still an emblem thing. im still only hearing asprin, though. askuring??? its just asprin. Asker?? that is not what you just fucking said. that is hundo not what he said before. what... askerin???? dude. i need subtitles for ya weird new words
ok, the girl is Sharena, the boy is Alfonse... alright.
wait. lon’qu is pronounced... lon ku??? fuck. shiiiittttt. ive always said lon Q. bugger me. why does he even want lonqu so bad. yuri lowenthal didnt even voice lonqu. what, we didnt wanna summon ricken? i like ricken.
oh OF COURSE the default version of robin is male robin. rip.
anyway why is his voice familiar even though like... i havent watched naruto since i was 8. ?? oh, was he in persona? thats it, isnt it.... yea, it probably is, god dammit yosuke.
Validar???? Validar?? Niles??? what. whats with the selection. that is a really bizarre selection of peeps.
also, alright, Askr and the Askran Kingdom.... right... ok, sure. at least i got emblian right. ok, so the selection is actually basically all characters in fire emblem, they just. name dropped a few. randomly. righto. holy shit this site blows. like, it doesnt WORK. if i click random hero, i then cant random again, i cant go next hero, i have to go back to the main meno and then reselect. and if i go to select by game title, it wont atually let me scroll through the games and im forced to pick from shadow dragon, which is cool but i havent fucking PLAYED shadow dragon. what the fuck.
am i alone???? is this site borked??? send help

Hey hey hey here to say (lol rhyme) that i fucking love love love my real big sister and my frat big! I know i sound like such a smol person right now who cant do anything for herself-- which isnt true i can do a lot of shit on my own thank you very much-- but i think growing up as a little sister for real shaped how i view things and how i act and so im definitely forever in the little sister mindset despite being 20 years old and having a little of my own now HAHAHAH but it feels good to have people who genuinely want to take care of you and look out for you even people who arent my big(s) look out for me constantly and are so so caring and for that im just so so so thankful!!!! not to get all emotional or simpy but yallreadyknow im a very emotional and simpy person.
Get ready bc its about to get reaaalll here
[speaking about my non biological big]
Choosing my big a little over a year ago, i had no real idea what kind of relationship would transpire. I knew i wanted a guy big since I already have a big sister, so I chose a big brother on the basis of someone i could learn from and look up to as a role model kinda. not super serious as it sounds, but in general i wanted someone to look up to like my big sis!! After some advice i chose my big and like i was pretty neutral about my decision because i had no idea who i wanted to pick so i just picked one i knew id at least be okay with. So throughout the first semester, i saw other people and their bigs getting really close and i got kinda jealous bc mine never realy asked to hang out much but i get that different people mighht not be that proactive and initiative of things so it was ok, also these other people chose their bigs because fromt he get go they knew for sure they wanted that person whereas i had no fucking clue HAHAHA
This first semester it was awkward like any other friendship right like you barely know the person so u go to small talk and shit (eventually when youre actual real good friends you can joke around without it being awkward and roast the other person knowking the other person has good intentions!!) but then the next semester we hung out more and i really like it when we hang out as a whole line too i think that helped! really fortunate to have such an active line that still talks to eachother and gets food :,) So yeah were like good friends now esp after this semester (his last semester tho, sad :( ) and i guess the one thing i felt like lacked was being able to talk to him about deep stuff like stuff ill talk to with my actual big sister bc i regularly call my sisterbecause i lowkey think i have mild depression but i think thats a story for another post HAHAH anyways its definitely beneficial for me to talk about it outlod with someone whether it be on the phone of in person and the phone is good i always feel better when i talk to my sister about it but sometimes i just want a hug ya know so it would be nice to talk sto someone in person ! anywas i was always hesitant to talk to my big about these things bc i guess we could joke around and hang out fine but it really is a different level of friendship when you can share your problems and mental health issues... and before you say oh why dont you talk to your other friends i feel like i dont want to burden them with these ramblings and have them feel ba for me because when i tell my housemates these types of things (although i know theyre not judging and they actually care about me) i cant help but feel like theyre silently judging me for having so many problems and bitching about small problems also cuz im sure another one o fmy housemates suffers from depression so i dont want to trigger her anyways so last night it was like a lit ass party which i missed out on but im def okay withit because i basically talked the whole night with my big about some stuffs and it felt good knowing that he knows the extent and details about it and knows how i feel about it because i think he knew before it just wasnt clear clear ((but we were both rly fcked up hahahah i guess alcohol really is a relaxant haha made me okay with spilling what i always wanted to spill without feeling weird about it)) anyways his response is what really got me because as we were talking about it okay so it went like this
Me: “blah blah this happened and i know i was dumb and naiive for letting it happen”
Other person in room: “yeah thats why i stayed up so late to make sure you were okay and didnt get taken advantage of again”
--this night my big also stayed awake pretty late but i think because he didnt really know the extent of the issue, he was oblivious which isnt his fault, also the other person knew bc shes a girl and was also targetted i think so we kinda were on the same page--
Big’s response after hearing this: (paraphrased and what i remember from the night mind you i was fucked up so my memory might not be the best lol) “wait what?? If i had known i would have stayed up” and he followed up with “Im not kidding if someone would lay a finger on you i would actually knock the shit out of them”
he said this in a really serious tone and lol the shift from regular party to serious conversation tone was really sudden but im glad we were able to talk about this in a serious tone. After hearing this i was kinda like surprised because ive never really seen him talk that seriously before usually were all joking around but i really appreciate it when i have friends who i can talk about serious things with because in the long run its these relationshps thall help you when youre down and everything and ugh just yeah
TLDR; Im really grateful to have a non biological big that cares for me and looks out for me like my real biological big and after last night Im one hundo percent sure i picked the right big and im just so so thankful for all hes done :,)
