The Imperial family has a Princess of Marrying age, I had thought about approaching them and seeing if we could Ally the two countries. They run a similiar structure like we do with a formal Harem of concubines and consorts. So there wouldnt be many cultural differences, other than we are a bit more advanced than they are. “
MiMi: She nods her head in agreement, “Make arrangements to meet with the Emperor. This could bring great Prosperity to the Chao islands. I will go pay respects to our ancestors for their blessings”

The Imperial Brinxiao Harem Chapter 1- Footsteps
Writer’s note- Apologies if my writing is not as great as others! this is my first story and im working really hard at coming up with things to make it a bit spicier! :) TLDR: The first few posts may be pretty boring, but i need to start somewhere!
9 months in - The crown Princess has arrived, and the inner court consorts are gathered around a table chatting about how good the princess has been in only her few days in this world. And soon new selection candidates for the emperor will be here. Noble Consort Xiao is very pregnant, and soon shall burst. Two visitors have made their way to the inner court palace to visit and enjoy the Festivities.
Meanwhile in the gardens...
Zong: “Are you finding your accomodations comfortable? The empress had the palace decorated with what she thought would mesh well with you and Meiren Jadite.”
Zephyr: “Yes your highness, they are wonderful, thank you for your concern, we also thank you for allowing us to visit and celebrate in the birth of the Princess, may peace and blessings be with her. I look forward to one day getting to service you in regards to maintaining a legacy in the Zong Dynasty.” She smiled to herself, “I will take my leave and join the other consorts in the celebrations, i just wanted to personally congradulate you.”. With that Cairen Zephyr left and went to be with the higher ranking consorts. Zephyr is quiet and usually keps to herself. she does not like trouble.
Foot steps...
Meiren Jadeite: “Your majesty”, she said as she bowed to Empeor Zong. “If you have a moment of time to spare I would love your company for a moment.”
Zong: “You may Rise, I always have time for my Beauties (Meirens). “, he took her hands in his and pulled her up close. It was true that Jadeite was quite beautiful, he had neglected to spend time with her and the other Cairens since he had been so busy with the Princess and consort Xiao’s pregnancy. Jadeite was a beauty with a fine jawline, high cheekbones and a mischevious smile. It was what he adored about her and why he gave her the title he did. “what’s on your mind sweetheart?”, To most of his consorts Zong was sweet, he had yet to find a consort he did not like.
Jadeite: “Honestly”, she sighed happy that the emperor was finally giving her some attention after all this time being in the palace, being out in the Cairen palace had its downsides, the emperor was hardly around. “I’m just happy o have a moment with you. I had thought maybe you had forgotten me, and well the others as well. I understand if you’re busy and do not have time for me, but I want you to know how much i yearn to be by your side even for just alittle bit.” Part of that was a fib, she did like the emperor, but what she wanted more was to climb the social ladder. But she would never tell that.
Zong: My dearest, I have not forgotten you or your fellow sisters. I will summon you soon, I have just been very busy. and for that I am wrong, I may be a ruler, but I am also a husband to all my wives and I have neglected some of you, I will be more diligent.”, he smiled admiring the beauty in Jadeites face. “Come to Pheonix Hall tonight, stay with me...”, It was a command that put a great smile on her face.

Meet the Consorts/Emperor/Master Post
In my first post as promised you will meet the consorts and the emperor himself!
Emperor Zong, next to his Empress and First wife Empress Bing. (They are currently expecting their first child! will it be an heir or a spare?)
Behind Bing and from left to right; Second wife/ Zhaoyi Kimmy ( A gifted Princess from the west); Noble Consort Xiao; Virtuous Consort Chen; Able Consort Chunhua; Pure Consort Biyu.
It is said currently the Harem is peaceful, though the emperoro has talken a liking to Noble Consort recently as he has been visiting her in the evenings, will the sisterhood stay thick or will it thin easily due to jealousy? Next post you will meet their Meirens and Cairens!
