“Nozomanu Fushi no Boukensha” The Second Promo
A second promotional video for the television anime Nozomanu Fushi no Boukensha (The Unwanted Undead Adventurer) was unveiled on the official website. The animation will premiere on AT-X at 9:00 p.m. on January 8 and thereafter on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and BS NTV. The anime will be available for streaming on Netflix and d Anime Store on January 5 at 10:00 p.m.

The Unwanted, Undead Adventurer
🌟 **The Unwanted Undead Adventurer** 🌟
This anime is another hidden gem that doesn’t get the hype it deserves. This is a great anime; the animation is good, and the story is great. The anime synopsis was what got me interested in this anime, but seeing this story come to life is different, it is like a familiar taste but slightly better than you remember. 🧟♂️📺
The story is what makes this anime, but what makes it better is that it has just as much action, with a lovable MC. The story progressed quickly when it came to his short-term goal (I will leave it at that), but I certainly thought that this goal would be more of a long-term goal, but he progressed fast in season one. Lorraine Vivie is a true friend and I hope we see her a lot throughout the show, so is Sheila Ibarss, another great friend someone who truly cares for Rentt. 💪👫
This anime has great potential right now I will give it a 7.5 Verified checkmarks. This anime is going to be very good, and I am expecting this anime’s rating to hit around 8.5 verified checkmarks. I believe because Rentt “accomplished” one of his goals, next season may focus more on making progress on his ultimate goal and becoming even stronger. I can’t wait to see what is in store for next season. 🎉🔜

The Unwanted Undead Adventurer Light Novel to Get Anime Adaptation
Yu Okano and Jaian's light novel series The Unwanted Undead Adventurer (also known in Japan as The Unwanted Immortal Adventurer or Nozomanu Fushi no Boukensha) has sold more than 1.4 million copies since it made the jump to Overlap Bunko in 2017. Now, it's about to become the latest Shōsetsuka ni Narō website alum to get an anime adaptation!
The announcement was made during this weekend's Overlap Bunko 9th Anniversary online event, and came with this flashy PV:

And a celebratory art piece shows skeletal protag Rentt Faina enjoying a meal with fellow main characters Lorraine Vivie and Sheila Ibarss:
The original light novel and its manga adapation are both currently available via J-Novel Club, who summarize it thus:
Rentt Faina, a twenty-five-year-old adventurer, has been hacking away at monsters for a decade. However, without much talent for the job, Rentt finds himself stuck hunting Slimes and Goblins for meager amounts of coin every day. Little does he know, all this is about to change when he comes across a seemingly undiscovered path in the Labyrinth of the Moon's Reflection. What awaits him at the end of the path, however, is neither treasure nor riches, but a legendary dragon that wastes no time swallowing him whole! Waking up a short time later, Rentt finds himself not quite dead, but not very alive either— He is nothing more than a pile of bones! Armed with nothing but his trusty sword, tool belt, and ghoulish new looks, Rentt sets off on his quest as a newly reborn Skeleton to achieve Existential Evolution, hoping to one day return to civilization with a more human form. Will Rentt succeed, or will the labyrinth consume him for the rest of his un-death...?
