I miss when you can like a band and know nothing about who’s in it, I was living in peace before I learned who the lead singer of love/joy (no slash I’m futilely censoring it) was, now I’m embarrassed that I like one song of theirs
#I was listening to the radio with my mom#she uses siriusxm and the fuckin dj was like this upcoming artist the lead singer is a YouTuber#I was like wtf#I google it#cause I like the song#dude does mcyt#with the probably most popular one d//ream although I had zero clue#I live in my like 3 small sandboxes of jrpg and stupid game enthusiasts and I like it that way#I’m just embarrassed I didn’t know who he was#to be fair I get confused sometimes when I hear a solo project then the same lead singer in a band and I go whaaaaaa such similar voices#not knowing that’s the same singer#am I gonna quit listening to the song? eventually probably#I ruined it for myself#I’m not embarrassed about his I guess other gig I don’t care#I care that nothing in the artist page said he did that too
