Do you think you have a type of character you gravitate towards? No type preference. More than anything, I like three specific voices that completely contrast each other. I also like difficult characters to work with :) (i.e. few lines, strange personalities, discontentment with character’s in-game choices, not many personal bonds)
What do you believe you enjoy writing the most? Motion! Fighting, dancing, moving around. I also, and this is a very silly thing to say, have a tendency to absolutely love my partners’ writing in general. I get very engrossed with how to gel with my partner, and make the writing mesh together. I like referencing old threads, old dialogue lines, completing sentences or thoughts that were left in the cursory. I also enjoy personalizing a character’s narration or writing style based on their mind set.
Favorite TOA-related memory: Unlocked 2021, my beloved! That event mentally sent me on a loop

They’re done! Sadly I didn’t pick fitting music this time because I’m not sure how 3H support music works the way I know with Fates, so I might edit that in later.

Shamir: And yourself. Nice to fight someone who doesn’t fight like your average Fodlan soldier.
Scathach: (laughs) Well, I guess you could say that. No wonder you’re the best to train with, you get it.
Shamir: I have to say, it’s nice having someone around that isn’t like the other knights. I can only handle hearing so much about Seiros or the goddess.
Scathach: I see we’re in agreement, then. We have a lot in common, you and I. Maybe we’ll have to train together more often.
Shamir: Heh, maybe so.
Scathach: But for right now, why don’t we go eat something? It’s getting late, and we don’t want to miss our chance.
Shamir: Awfully forward of you. I’m surprised you’d want to fraternize like this.
Scathach: We’re in the same situation, right? Might as well start getting cozy. We should have each other’s backs and all.
Shamir: I guess you’re right. Fine, then. I’ll go with you.
Scathach: So it’s settled. A good meal after a good training session. I’m sure we’ll have plenty to talk about.

Scathach: I was born in Arianrhod, in the Kingdom. I had to leave on… less than positive terms. Changed my name and left everything I knew behind. Have been working as a mercenary since. And that’s all you need. Now, about your end of this agreement?
Shamir: I was born in Dagda. And there’s nothing else to say about that.
Scathach: Ah, stubborn, I see. Still, a deal’s a deal. I have a feeling this won’t be the last bit of soul sharing we do.
Shamir: Heh, I wouldn’t mind that.

I think it’s Shamir’s turn now!
mist - how does your f/o help you out when you’re feeling lost?
Shamir’s approach is similar to Meg’s. First, she tries advice. She’s normally a pretty rational sort. If that doesn’t work, she tries things that clear her own head. A nice long walk usually works best, but it depends. Training also works pretty well. Either way, she’s determined to get through somehow.
ivy - how do you take care of each other when you’re sick?
Shamir focuses a lot on doing/getting what’s needed. Medicine? Food? Water? She’ll get it without complaint. She’ll also offer her own company, if needed - that’s less natural to her, but at the same time, she is loath to leave her unprotected. Scathach does the same, but she prioritizes the company first while also fetching things when needed. She’d also be willing to try to cook her something comforting, to try to make her feel better.

Catherine: she’s honestly just really vibrant. Like, her personality is so bright and uplifting. She’s not overbearing, but she could pick anyone up with just how she is.
Shamir: there’s a kind of tenderness right below the surface. She tries to hide it to not make herself vulnerable, but it shows through in so much of what she does, and it’s wonderful.

Oh no no, I am doing this ask meme! God you’re right though, lapis lazuli is so cool. Love that deep blue color too. Anyway, I’ll be answering these for Shamir since I’m working on my wedding fic!
Jade: Who would you say is a better leader between you and your F/O?
It’s probably Scathach, of the two of them. She has that right charisma to draw people to them and get them to listen to her. Shamir prefers to keep to herself as a rule and probably doesn’t want to be a leader of very many people anyhow.
Lapis Lazuli: How well does your F/O get along with other people? Do they have lots of friends?
She’s not disliked, by any means, but she tends to hold others at arm’s distance, especially after the trauma she’s been through. She prefers a few close friends over many friends.

Ahhh thank you! I’m so happy to talk about Shamir-
Who fell for the other first?
Shamir, not that she’d ever admit it when asked. When she found herself opening up to Scathach, it was basically all over for her and she was going to fall headfirst in love.
Who said "I love you" first?
Scathach. It caught Shamir off guard and basically made her blurt out that she feels the same. Scathach was just more comfortable admitting it.
Who is more affectionate in public/private?
In public, neither is super affectionate, short of some teasing and maybe a stolen kiss here or there. In private, it’s actually Shamir, who is so touch-starved that she just needs it.
Who initiates cuddle sessions?
Scathach. But once she does, Shamir will really cuddle in and all bets are off.
How do we cheer each other up?
Honestly, probably just go out for a walk together. Talk about it if we feel like it, if not just have each other’s company. And, of course, cuddles are still available.
Who is more likely to plan a surprise date for the other?
Maybe me? I don’t do it that often, but maybe plan something small for her to make her happy. Though I could see her being pretty good at this kind of thing too.
Who suggests the more creative date ideas?
Probably Shamir! She has a lot of different experiences and can come up with some cool things.
Who steals the other's clothes?
Scathach, if either of them. She’d borrow Shamir’s jacket sometimes. It probably smells nice.
Who is more likely to leave cute little sticky notes for the other to find?
Scathach probably. She’s more likely to show her love through language, and I feel like she’d be amused by her reactions to them.
What our favourite thing to do during the summer is?
Going for a nice stroll in the warm summer evenings, and having a cool drink together after. That sounds really nice right now, actually.
What our favourite thing to do during the winter?
Stealing girlfriend jackets. Also, seeing the leaves fall. But mostly stealing girlfriend jackets.

2) Describe your f/o’s voice.
It was honestly a bit higher pitched than I expected? But there’s also a bit of huskiness to it. This might be a strange comparison, but it reminds me a bit of Siouxsie Sioux. It’s pleasant to listen to.
7) Describe your f/o’s hands.
They’re smaller and more delicate-looking than you’d expect. Very graceful. They’re also covered in callouses, as you might imagine. Her bow is her life, after all. She’s actually a bit nervous about showing her hands and as such keeps her gloves on all the time.
10) Describe your f/o’s laugh.
Pure serotonin. It’s very rare that she gives anything more than a bit of a chuckle, but when she laughs hard enough to not be able to control it it’s extremely cute. She almost laughs herself to tears in her support with Leonie and it’s my favorite.

stars - what kind of a date would your f/o take you on?
Honestly, I think Shamir loves just going for a walk, or exploring. Particularly at dusk or at night, with the stars above. It’s peaceful, it’s quiet, and she can focus on the company of her lover. It works well for her.
pine - do you believe in love at first sight?
Hmm, well, I don’t think Shamir does. But I think on some level she realized she would fall in love when they met. She resisted as much as she could because of her old relationship, but truth be told, she knew it would happen. As for Scathach, I don’t think she was sure what she thought. She knew she’d like Shamir right away, even if she didn’t know to what extent their relationship would go.

Oh god I love her?? Honestly as a character she really snuck up on me. There’s just so much more to her than the cold facade she puts out, and that makes me love her so much.

Oh boy, for some reason I blanked on this one pretty hard. I don’t have as many songs for Shamir (...yet), and let’s be honest, most of the poetry I know is very sad Russian poetry. But really, few things will measure up to this bit from Shamir’s S support:
“I chose the life of a mercenary, alone and free to live wherever and however I pleased... Now I'm choosing to remain here, to live the rest of my life...with you.”
Because finally Shamir finds a home and the comfort she has been seeking.
Second place goes to the entirety of Nikogo ne Budet v Dome, a Russian bard song that touches on similar themes. (That link is an English translation, by the way!)
mood: Are there any canon ships in other media that reminds you of your self ship?
God I was so tempted to say Minene Uryu and Nishijima from Future Diary again? It’s been coming up a lot. But there’s also kind of a battle couple aspect to it that I feel like it doesn’t quite have. Still, that’s the closest thing coming to mind right now.

With snark. She is definitely the kind of person to lovingly tell Scathach to “wake the fuck up”. She won’t manhandle her, though, because she knows she hates it.

Either of them could cook breakfast, but tbh Shamir would probably do a better job. Shamir is a hunter by nature and isn’t opposed to meat for breakfast, particularly her game, and Scathach would eat basically anything anyhow.

I’ve been doing a lot for LoboCorp, how about an FE break? Catherine and Shamir time.
🌙 - Shamir knows how to make some really good coffee, actually. When she gets her hands on some, she’ll make some for Scathach, always with the excuse that it’s too much for her to drink herself. No one buys it.
🌙 - Honestly everyone probably knew that Catherine and Scathach had feelings before they did. Shamir had to witness them being complete idiots and not acknowledging how each other feels. The students were probably placing bets by the end of it.
