Funny idea I had for SG MTMTE: Megatron x Getaway. I have no basis for this other than the fact that these two would (probably) be among the least evil people on the Lost Light and because Mainverse Getaway would have a spark attack if he saw that

Being a genuinely good person

Trying his damnest to pretend he's a dastardly bastard

So it's an interesting matchup with a sg idw Megs, who's situation on the ship is probably bad

SG MTMTE: The Megatron Fan Club. starring: Tarn and the DJD (or whatever they're called in SG) Overlord Sunder and Froid Getaway

Probably SG Atomizer too considering how he's joined at the hip with Getaway throughout mtmte and a bit of LL (though their dynamic is probably more wholesome in shattered glass)

Unsure where we should go with Brainstorm considering his canon morality (should we make him better? Should we make him worse?) but he gets a possible mention

Here's an idea: SG DJD are a mixture of commandos, lawyers, and medics. They bust you out of prision, patch you up, and give you legal advice.

That would be kinda funny but also i can totally see them being amazing in several directions

It also makes me wonder a lot about the pasts of the members of the sg djd which have to be cool stories

Lmao imagine Shattered Lights becoming a polycule because Tarn is gonna simp for Megs no matter the universe

I think we have an au lying around regarding SG getamegs but basically? Something close to that yeah! I like to think there's two ways you can approach any of the baseline autobot antagonists and it's "make them better" or "make them worse" n for SG Getaway we usually make him Better

I feel like in some SG mtmte situations, SG Megs could really use the additional person on his side (though now I'm thinking about adding him to the #sg lost light au specifically with it's unique mix of a cast n more lighthearted tone)

SG and Main Getaway both say “Fuck Megatron”, but they have completely different things in mind when they say it.

Getaway pursues a relationship partially because it’ll tick off Rodimus, who I imagine wouldn’t be too happy with him seducing his co captain lol

I just feel like, since we're working in shattered glass, their interactions could possibly be so sweet too

Think would be really cool if all the SG DJD were like good dudes, but all of them had some really sketchy backgrounds

Been thinking all day and night about the sg Rodimus v Ultra Magnus arguing that would occur on the sg Lost Light

SG GetaMegs short One of the things Megatron liked about Getaway, in spite of himself, was that he always knew how to pleasantly surprise him. Rodimus had announced he was going to be addressing the crew, and Megatron, as co-captain, was obligated to go too. That being said, he did make sure to take the more long winded route. It was as he was walking through one of the less trafficked corridors on the Lost Light when Getaway decided to jump from the vents and land on his back. Megatron didn't even bother pretending to surprised. "Hello Getaway." "Hey Megs."

I've been fiddling around more with his SG design (so far results are unsatisfactory because he has so many goddamn colors on him, but he's looking good with amber orange optics)

But basically YES THIS

Getaway is abrasive and confrontational towards most everyone on the lost light since it’s a dog eat dog world in the bits and he thinks it’s the best way to survive…

…then he gets to Megatron’s suite (sneaking in the through the vents Skids style so no one notices) and he’s just like…a sad cute lil meow meow cuddling and crap

Also at one point he probably admits to Skids “Oh yeah btw I’m sleeping with Megatron.” But Skids thinks it’s a joke and laughs it off

They're trying to hide it because...? They can? I'm assuming sg Megatron still isn't well liked on the Lost Light, so that factors into things

I just love the idea that sg getaway is a stand up guy who has opinions on how sg rodimus runs things and crawls through vents and is an underdog type

Shattered glass is when we explore a game of opposites, and opposite!getaway would probably be more selfless in my opinion

Oooh! SG!Getaway is a breath of fresh air to SG!Tarn on sg lost light au. Absolutely atrocious liar. He is the Scavenger-esque Autobot of the Autobots. He has the rest of his "Losers Club" (Rodimus's words) with him, too.

SG!GetaMegs is oddly intriguing as a pairing. Especially if it contrasts Tarn dealing with the SG DriftRod on the side.

Because unfortunately for Tarn, Tarn approves of SG Getaway (there are worse choices on the ship) (several worse choices) and I in general find SG Getaway to be an endearing character
