@institutoluizgama O cartório que inicialmente se recusou a registrar com o nome de Samba o filho do cantor Seu Jorge com sua companheira Karina Barbieri, nascido no último dia 22, com o argumento de que se tratava de nome “incomum”, reavaliou a decisão após a repercussão nas redes sociais e permitiu o registro. “Diante das razões apresentadas, que envolvem a preservação de vínculos africanos e de restauração cultural com suas origens, assim como o estudo de caso que mostrou a existência deste nome em outros países, formei meu convencimento pelo registro do nome escolhido, que foi lavrado no dia de hoje”, disse a registradora Kátia Possar em comunicado divulgado à imprensa ontem (26). Segundo com a lei de Registros Públicos, de 1973, alguns nomes podem ser vetados no momento do registro, caso os oficiais julguem que a opção possa trazer prejuízos futuros à criança, resultando em preconceito e bullying. “Os oficiais do registro civil não registrarão prenomes suscetíveis de expor ao ridículo os seus portadores”, diz o texto. Entretanto, não há uma lista de nomes proibidos no país, e o critério depende dos pais e do registrador. Hagamos la prueba. Mezclemos en un recipiente a los grandes intérpretes de música brasileña (Chico Buarque, Tom Zé, Djavan, Gal Costa, María Bethania, Elis Regina, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Edu Lobo, Ivan Lins, etc.) y añadamos un condimento nuevo. Hay una alta probabilidad de obtener un producto con todas las cualidades de los ingredientes principales, pero con un nuevo sabor.
Ana & Jorge Ao Vivo es un ejemplo de la mezcla anterior. Un disco grabado en agosto de 2005 en el que Seu Jorge y Ana Carolina Souza, artistas de la “nueva” avanzada brasileña, logran dar frescura a la música popular de su país. Antes de este disco ambos artistas tuvieron historias parecidas: sus discos debut fueron bien recibidos por la crítica y colocaron éxitos rápidamente. Ana Carolina con su disco homónimo colocó Beatriz, tema original de Chico Buarque. Seu Jorge, por su parte, con su disco Samba Esporte Fino colocó el tema Carolina.
Este disco en vivo, que ganó en 2006 el premio Multishow como la mejor producción del año, es un viaje a través de diferentes estilos de música brasileña que van desde las citas de Tropicalia, pasando por tradicionales bossanovas, sambas, covers con excelentes arreglos, baladas desgarradoras, discursos sociales, hasta combinaciones de secuencias. En resumen, un disco completo que no solamente presenta un homenaje sino que además expresa un reacomodo en el discurso musical.
Entre los 15 temas que contiene Ao Vivo, destacan los covers Tanta Saudade, conocido en la voz de Djavan, en una excelente versión con un arreglo samba/funk que destaca la ejecución de Ana Carolina en el bajo, así como la versión É Isso Aí, cover en portugués del tema The Blower Daughter que Damien Rice incluyó en la banda sonora de la película Closer, dirigida por Mike Nichols.
La música popular brasileña avanza y con este disco podemos darnos cuenta que no sólo los artistas tradicionales la fomentan, sino que hay artistas que la refrescan y enriquecen.
