On-Page SEO optimization is a very crucial factor that will determine the success of your website to rank on the first page of the organic search result. 
A perfectly optimised page will allow you to stay on the search result for a good time. The more it stays on the first page, the more you will get the traffic which will ultimately lead to higher conversion rate. 
Therefore the following are On-Page SEO Optimization that you can do on your website.
Title Tag Optimization
Title tag should be an attention grabber. It should induce the user to click on it. Also, it must contain the keyword.  You can put 2 keywords max. Try to write the title by keeping the primary keyword at the beginning of it. But the keywords should not be stuffed. 
The length should also be short. Do not go beyond 65 characters as such is the only length visible in the google search page.
Heading Tag Optimization
Your content must contain headings. And the headings must contain the primary and secondary keywords. 
The heading tags consist of H1, H2, H3, H4, H5. Except H1 Tags, all the other tags can be repeated. 
You can also write a different title and H1 tags. You can put variations of the keyword of Title tag in H1.
URL Optimization
The URL must also contain the primary keywords. Additionally, it should be short and readable. Never attempt to cram a group of words together or use underscores to divide words.
All the pages should have a unique URL. Avoid overstuffing,dynamically generated URLs, and duplicate urls.
Meta Description Optimization
Meta description should be written to impress the searcher. It should be compelling. Try to put call to action words like ``Grab the offer now!”. The length should not extend to 155 characters. And of course primary as well as secondary keywords must be there in the description. But it should appear naturally. 
If you exceed or don’t write the description, then the search engine will take any of the paragraphs from the content. 
Optimising Images
Try to keep the image size below 200. The more the size, the more time it will require for the website to load. This will result in the increase in bounce rate. Which means the user will click back to the search result page. 
You can also download plugins like lazy load that allows the image to only load when you scroll over it.
Don’t forget to write the alt tag. Meaning, you should write what is in the image. When a page's picture fails to load, alt text takes its place. Users of screen readers will also find it useful.
Internal Linking
Internal links aid Google in determining the subject matter of your page. They also make it easier for users and search engines to traverse your website.
