We’re delighted to announce that our CEO, Martin Leeming, has been invited to give a presentation at the British Adhesives & Sealants Association’s (BASA) Open Industry Forum next week. As the voice to Government for the UK’s adhesives and sealants industry, BASA offers guidance to its members on a variety of topics, including the type of packaging they use. One of its key focuses is on the responsible use of natural resources and the adoption of a circular economy to help create a more sustainable society with higher recycling rates. Taking place on the historic SS Great Britain in Bristol on Wednesday March 25th, the Forum will give a wide range of speakers the opportunity to discuss subjects including the impact of Brexit and environmental protection with attendees. Martin will be explaining the benefits that automation can deliver to the packaging industry, with a focus on environmentally friendly packaging systems that reduce energy and materials usage, minimise CO2e emissions and reduce users’ carbon footprints. Martin said: “I’m looking forward to speaking at the BASA event later this month.
