Most of you are well acquainted with the Highland cow. Here's a Belted Galloway a rare cow and much prized. It originates from Galloway as it name suggests which is found in the western part of the Scottish Borders. Known also as "Belties" they produce the finest lean marbled beef and are incredibly tasty! During the winter they grow long coats to help endure the harsh winters on the exposed Borders moors.
