 so i’m gonna keep this about as quick and simple as possible because i’m lazy !!

     - i haven’t seen the birds of prey movie, so it has no influence on how i play cass !!  ive heard its not very true to her character, so it’ll probably stay that way even after i see the movie.       - i play her as primarily based on her pre-52 history.  cass is the daughter of lady shiva and david cain, to world-renowned assassins.  in attempt to sharpen her abilities as a fighter early, her father raised her devoid of language.  his intention was to  make fighting and body-language her first language.  cassandra is incredibly adept at reading tells in other people.  cassandra has a unique form of dyslexia, as a result, that hampers her ability to read/write/speak.       - she can speak / read / write now, but it’s not always the easiest, and it’s not always accurate.  she hates reading and writing, but she will speak.  she just chooses to communicate nonverbally more often than not.      - at age eight, cass was pushed into killing a man.  however, cass has a VERY strict no-killing policy.  she ran away from her father shortly after killing a man at eight, and she spent the next several years on the run, in hiding, and homeless.      - in gotham, cass ended up kind of latching on to barbara gordon and bruce wayne.  she became batgirl, learned to function w/ the rest of the batfamily.     - cass is incredibly loyal to the idea of batman, and to bruce and barbara specifically.  she has very little room for forgiveness when she perceives one of the other members of the family as having betrayed what they stand for.  she takes being batgirl extremely seriously.      - after a psychic fiddled with cass’ brain so she could better understand spoken/written language, she had to be retrained.  her mother did most of the retraining, but only under the agreement that a year after, cassandra would fight her to the death.     - lady shiva kills cass during the fight -- then resurrected her.  then cass defeated shiva but didn’t kill her, so now her mom isn’t thrilled w/ her.  because their family is a fucked up mess.     - cass struggles with guilt over her past and is incredibly insecure about her position in gotham and w/ the batfam; she feels like she’s always in danger of being kicked out if she doesn’t perform well enough.      - tiny lesbian.      - she loves her siblings and her New dad a lot.  stephanie brown is her best friend. <3

loki was known to many as the go of mischief who caused numerous things and hurt a lot of people that stood against him. he was seen as a villain despite just wanting to be seen and accepted

i mainly stick to 616 canon with some influences from mcu. namely the first avengers film with the villain role

was killed by the void when trying to actually do something good for once. clearly didn’t end up well.

while loki did die, a deal was made to wipe his name from the book of hel to be reborn with a clean slate. however, this was a completely new loki

this new version was haunted by the evil version of himself, and he was able to turn that version of himself into a crow named ikol

unfortunately ikol convinced the young loki to sacrifice himself, and ikol killed him, and took the younger loki’s body. this, however, caused ikol to feel great grief at what he had done and everything else done in the past

in the new body, loki chose to become a better person than the other version of himself.

he is a member of the young avengers

loki is a shapeshifter so form can often shift. pronouns depend on the day and what loki is feeling. it could be she, he, or they/them. just depends on what loki is feeling at the time

while loki is trying to be better than the other version of himself, there is still mischief there. under that is the yearning for people to finally accept that they’ve grown and become a better person rather than just a villain

as for abilities, loki has frost giant/asgardian physiology that grants superhuman abilities, and a regenerative healing factor

loki is also an incredibly skilled and powerful sorcerer, able to use magic in many forms.

at this moment in time, loki no longer goes by the god of mischief. it is instead the god/goddess of stories, and mistress of strategies.

hiyah dudes ! i’m mipsy, and tbh this my ump-tenth time coming back to rp after awhile. so i’m going to try to make this short and sweet with my girl carol, since i don’t really have much to say right now because, again, this is rough start. so look and listen and enjoy !

⭐~ carol will be primarily based on her comics, earth-616, headcanons, and inspired by the mcu’s captain marvel. there’s some from the comics i’ll use, some i won’t, because of the different timelines and versions. i’ll let everybody know when i set up a bio for her, but it’s gonna be awhile. but carol will not be / become binary in this rpg. i think things would get a little confusing and op if she was.

⭐~ chewie is carol’s flerken cat. it’s not really a cat, it’s an alien. she named her after the star wars character, chewbacca, because she loves star wars and chewie reminded carol of him.

⭐~ carol is half-kree by birth. her mother, mari-ell, was the champion or captain of the kree. though young carol hadn’t seemed to share her mother’s abilities, yet. the explosion of the kree psyche-magnitron, caused her body to absorb the cosmic energy within it, and instead of killing her, awakened her latent kree abilities. all of the powers she has are even more heightened now, because of her kree blood.

⭐~ car-ell is her birth name. means “champion” in kree language, but her parents changed it to “carol” so she could fit in on earth. carol has learned this by now.

⭐~ carol struggles with her kree lineage. she doesn’t agree with them and butts heads with them a lot, but her mother is kree. and she loves her mother, so she is the exception. very few others are too

⭐~ carol is a lesbian icon™️ because she’s been influenced by powerful women of all different types. women have only built her up, while men in her life have tried to tear her down. It all started from her sh*t dad. but she doesn’t hate men. she’s befriended some and isn’t afraid to befriend more, ex. nick fury. it’s men who believe she can’t do something because she’s a woman, that piss her off. ( i realize in the comics, carol’s not lesbian *shocker* so, at the same time, depending on who she really connects with, i’m not against making her bisexual. bisexual / lesbian, as long as she’s not straight. carol danvers is not 100% straight, fight me. )

⭐~ i love both marvel / dc, so i am here to mix carol with characters from both. plots and all. of coarse, she can have established relationships for some characters if they are a marvel character and are from the comics too, but that can be hashed out in plotting. enemies? she’s temperamental, perfect. friends? hell yeah. family like relationships? psh YES. broships? PSH bring it. ships? yeah. frienemies? let’s do it, man.

Jean’s a really powerful telepath and it took her a long time to control her powers. One time she was dying and a cosmic entity called the Phoenix Force saved her life, but there was a pretty hefty cost.

As far as Jean knows now, her connection with the Phoenix Force is completely severed. I’m not opposed to bringing it back for plot shenanigans though >:)

I put Phoenix as the vigilante name, but she really just goes by Jean these days.

As of now, Jean is a full-time teacher at the Xavier Institute, and she lives at the school. Upstate New York is her home. 

On the side, she conducts University-funded research on the political and social disenfranchisement of the mutant community. She occasionally acts as a consultant for policymakers, though few trust a known telepath.

Jason was Robin until the Joker killed him at fifteen, he was resurrected by some time fuckery, and revived by the Lazarus Pit.

Lazarus Pit combined with PTSD from dying made him violent and impulsive in the years following his resurrection. In recent years he has chilled out a little. Not that much tho.

He’s currently acting as the vigilante known as the Red Hood. Jason is different from other members of the Batfamily in that he does not have any qualms about using lethal force, and as such, guns are his weapon of choice. 

His role in the East Coast drug trade and the other illegal ways (theft, embezzlement, etc.) he finances his operations make him closer to an anti-hero than a hero.

You were born a warrior. A protector. From birth, it was known this would be your fate. You had a warrior’s spirit, your mother could see it..

Your will came from her. An Amazon who’d taken an opportunity to explore, to leave her home and learn of the world. You don’t know what drew her to your father. You don’t even know if she truly loved him.

Until you were six, you travelled back and forth. She wanted you to know your father, to know the world mankind built, the world you were a part of to a degree. But she also wanted to strengthen your Amazon heart. The world in which she knew you belonged.

She trained you, from the day you were strong enough to want to learn. She knew you would not be settled with a normal life, so with a sword or a bow or a dagger in hand, she trained you. To fight, to shoot, to protect. You were still so young when you learned how a weapon could be an extension of your arm, your hand. Your heart.

Another reminder that you’ll never quite fit here. But you brush that aside. This is much more important.

You earn the badge that gives you the right to protect and serve. The gun that gives you a chance to defend the innocent. You know, in this world of humankind, this is the right way. The right step to take, to protect as much as you can.

TLDR ;;

SO BASICALLY Apollo is the son of an Amazon woman and a human man, he grew up with his mother until he was six and then was left with his father to live a normal human life

He has Amazon abilities to a degree - he’s not immortal but he ages slower than your average human. He’s 27 years old but you’re safe to assume he looks more like 24? so not drastically different yet

He’s got most of the superhuman abilities you would expect - strength, speed, durability, senses. He can jump really high and far but can’t fly.

He is ultimately a big puppy. He’s got a really positive personality and a load of confidence on the outside, he will always try and find a way to make things work or get through things and support people.

He very much believes his life should be dedicated to helping people, protecting people, saving people. He might have a bit of a hero complex going on there.

He has a huge fear of abandonment after his mother left him behind with his father. it’s never really gone away, he’s never really gotten over it

-  amazing that this is my newest character and the first i’ve managed to make an about for.  mostly just cuz he’s of my own creation, therefore i feel bad making you google him.  so i’m going to keep it quick && easy, because i don’t think anyone wants to read a long-winded introduction. 

- nico is the son of a fairly prolific siren called iara or uiara, depending on who you ask.  it’s a fairly cliche tale.  beautiful siren has a brief love affair with a normal human man.  he’s got nothing but the shirt on his back, and he adores her.  she likes him for a while, and then she leaves him with a son and nothing else.  

- nico grew up with his father, only saw his mother once every year or so.  each time, nico would ask to visit his home with her, and each time she would refuse.  the motivation for which is unknown to nico to this day.  nico && his father didn’t have a lot of money, but they managed to get by.  nico’s powers were less mind control and more powerful suggestion at a young age, and it helped them get by.  nico was able to work the odds in their favor from time to time, but for the most part, his powers remained rudimentary for the first sixteen or so years of his life. 

- eventually nico’s father gets sick, and there’s nothing nico can do to save him.  father passes away.  nico’s fucking furious, begins to really act out.  he gets noticed / picked up by an offshoot branch of the league of assassins.  they offer to help him refine his powers in exchange for his services!  he goes about two years working with the league, and that’s where his powers begin to really take shape. 

- should have explained his powers earlier, but here goes.  as the son of a siren, nicos got a modified, if not slightly less effective version of a siren song.  with it, nico can exercise a level of control over a person’s mind.  the strength of this varies depending on nico’s readiness at the moment, the person’s will power, and about a dozen other factors.  on the unsuspecting, he can completely control them for a few minutes at a time, but he has to keep carrying the suggestion via voice the entire time, so .... u really just have to shut him up.  this power made him really good for assassinations, cuz he could just make it....look like someone killed themselves.  nico can’t control more than one person at a time, but he can affect the mood of a large crowd of people.  recordings of nicos voice do not carry any power, except that it sounds pretty. 

- so after his stint with the league, nico has a sort of crisis.  he doesn’t feel bad about what he’s doing so much as he just doesn’t enjoy it.  he’s sick of living his life for other people, so he finds his way to america. nico lands in the bludhaven / gotham area.  he flies under the radar for a while, and then ends up turning towards pettier crimes than murder. 

- realizes that crime is 1) fun and 2) lucrative and really latches on.  nico goes into full on selfish hedonist mode, just sorta fucking around for his own benefit.  he’s a rogue in name, because he loves Crime, but he doesn’t serve a higher authority or ideology.  he’s here for a good time, not a long time.  he’s obsessed w/ the IDEA of the gotham city sirens, tho.  does he want to kiss them or be them??? impossible to tell.  but he does jack their style from time to time, namely miss quinn’s penchant for sparkly shorts. 

- in his day-to-day life, he rubs elbows w/ the upper class of the area a lot.  his powers let him have multiple Sugar Parents who THINK they’re having weird illicit affairs w/ him, but really he’s just mind controlling them for a while, planting a fake memory, and letting them buy him lavish things in return.  

-  he’s selfish, thrill-seeking, hedonistic, and a Big Ol Flirt.  on the plus side, he’s intensely loyal to the people he DOES develop an affection for, but it’s a long road to being on an affectionate side of nico.

- while he was with the league of assassins, he called himself iara.  now, as a rogue he goes by siren.  on the RARE occasion he needs to be on someone’s good side, he has an unrelated persona called hummingbird, but it’s incredibly unlikely that anyone will ever meet that persona.  it’s just an outfit in the closet for when he needs to pretend to be a good guy!

another disclaimer: natasha is also mostly based upon the comics (specifically phil noto’s run) but again, I will keep elements of the mcu to make it easier for people if necessary!

natasha was born in russia and after her parents and brother died in a fire, was brought to a facility called the red room. it was there that she was trained as an assassin and their cover was a ballet studio. because of this, natasha also has a dance background.

natasha was in the deadly black widow unit and her handler was a man named ivan. he was not great to her!!

eventually, once natasha was old enough to be sent on jobs, she hated her life and lack of freedom deeply. known by shield, someone was sent to assassinate her. instead of being killed however the agent realized how miserable she was and brought her into shield.

natasha then became a shield agent, working closely with her partner.

on the side, natasha also created an intelligence network called the widows web. she used this to help people across the world between missions -- and still runs it currently.

eventually, natasha ended up on a team called the avengers and became a big damn hero herself.

currently, natasha is an avenger and cares deeply about her team. she still runs the widows web though!
